I have nothing in common with this family and I enjoy watching them. Even for me, who does not share their faith (a rarity on this channel, I'm sure) and while no human is perfect, I see "good" - stability, kindness, compassion, selflessness, individuality, community, love, confidence in this family. Each person holds different opinions and places their own boundaries because we aren't intended to be clones of one another. I can easily imagine that when Jake and Julie disagree with someone, or disagree with opinions others hold, they aren't teaching their kids the entitlement and arrogance that leads to hating other humans. That is so important, in my opinion, because, surely, there is much too much hate in this world. And, of course, hate cannot live with the character traits and habits I see in this family. And, back on topic ... an appetizer "meal" is always special and a lot of fun for all! Everyone did a wonderful job of working together to put together a variety of tasty snacks!

As other people have commented, I also would love to have a few recipes. For me I would like to have the lemon curd and dough recipe. Yum! Looks so good! 🍋💛😋 Maybe you can make separate "recipe" videos and post them at a later date. (In other words 3 or more videos to spread out i.e. the regular video then post the other recipe videos at a later date.) Just a suggestion. If you don't, no problem because you are a busy family! Y'all always score the greatest finds at your thrift store. Silicone cupcake liners are the best, i love mine. All those snacks look delicious. I usually fast until noon and watching this first thing in the morning stirred up my hungry belly. 😂😂😂

Well, the kids did a Home Run creating all the wonderful snacks, desserts, and making it into a Smorgasbord. Absolutely brilliant idea for a wonderful New Years celebration. I would have loved those bars with the White Chocolate. Lots of talented children and definitely a fun time for everyone. Now I am really hungry. Praying for you Julie!
