Never have I ever thought Shyguymask would have Touhou related stuffs along with the Epic Battle Fantasy and Bloons ones altogether. Those three game series were my childhood.

Hey shyguymask. I wanted to thank you for introducing me to octopath traveller, epic battle fantasy5 , terraria and other cool games. After playing pirated terraria for a while i recently bought it on steam and played the calamity mod. I also played it with my friends and it was fun. So thank you.

Making challenges in Touhou isn't so hard, basically restrict yourself by prohibiting something that is rather important in the gameplay. For example, no focus, no shooting, no special gimmick... etc. But this leads to another problem. Because Touhou is pretty... straightforward even when every games have their own mechanics, there's not much room for creative challenges. So if you ever do any challenges related to Touhou, it's "Can I beat" rather than "Is it possible to"

Wow someone on the spectrum too, that's great to know For the touhou challenges you should try looking into he fighting games, but I'm not sure what challenges you could do in any games besides a pacifist/1cc/perfect runs

Lmao that description about yourself on the internet at 12:10 reminds me so much about myself (I also have autism) I used to look very intensely into Minecraft's movement and parkour and when dream uploaded a video saying that a 6 block jump might "theoretically" be possible I would literally spend multiple hours explaining Minecraft's movement physics to random probably 9 year olds and they just wouldn't listen, it is really funny looking back on it, I also was (and still am) in the Minecraft speedrunning community and when the dream cheating controversy hit i went all out guns blazing on anyone who so much as attempted to defend his legitimacy, it was truly on of the obsessions of all time.

If you're curious about Touhou challenges, there's a twitch channel named Touhou Replay Showcase that sometimes features people doing pretty creative runs. Maybe I can go into their archives and try to dig up some if you're curious. I also don't think Touhou has much room for creativity as it is a pretty straight forward shmup series that really puts the focus on survival and scoring, but there are some inspirational sources out there :3
