What is out there in the universe? Are we alone or is there a moon sized eldritch horror coming towards us at any moment to consume us? Or could it be something as simple as a feral furbie touching down on our planet? The reality is, we dont know. As a species we have looked to the stars but have seen very little to clear cut indicate that we are not alone. In the 80s however, this question would be answered. A species would escape a galactic prison and crash land on Earth. Being more fit to our environment, this would kick off a sequence of events that would lead to a small town in Kansas being attacked as well as a one family in particular. But how did this species become what they were and what were their evolutionary origins? Lets discuss that in todays episode over Critters!

  • And their only dialogue was simple: “FUCK!”- a Crit when seeing his fellow Crit getting blown up.
  • Man I remember watching this movie when I was like 3 or 4 and it’s what caused me to be absolutely terrified of the monsters under the bed
  • @TypeZeta2
Critters was such a weird movie to me and I could’ve swore it was a fever dream when I originally watched it. Also I turned 30 today Roanoke.

I've started new research on angler fish with legs
  • @Wolfshalifi
I would like to see a fight between these critters and gremlins, they should make a franchise where they bring them together like aliens vs predators
  • @arkking552
No matter how hungry they are or how many, man’s answer to animals bigger and stronger than us will always be able to take them out. Humanity #1

"Roanoke is stored in the balls" I spat my drink all over the table

You know what I like most about Critters, as a species? Over four movies (that I have seen) they never stop being scary. No matter how silly they act they never stop being dangerous. You never get the feeling in later movies that a regular person would be able to take them on, like with some other monsters.
  • I have been waiting for this one, boys! This was a favourite when I was a kid and still is 3 decades later.
  • @ikenosis8160
I absolutely love the Krites. They're obviously extremely intelligent, capable of prison breaking, ship navigation, and advanced language, but they still know the good time of eating flesh off the bone. Bless them.
  • I like to imagine Roanoke up at 3 AM writing a script to explain the scientific accuracy of an 80s monster movie.
  • @dtay8913
Glad you're covering the creeping crawling critters
  • @jyoung4370
