After over a year of owning this truck and upgrading a ton of parts I have figured out how to stop the rear driveshaft from exiting the drive cups with limiting straps installed in a fashionI haven't seen anyone do yet. Even though it has broke more than any of my other RCs it's probably still my favorite. I put stock 6s infraction V2 system in my erevo 2.0...riiips

Man I just played around with that thing for the first time in my house chasing my son awesome and it's cool in the dark how the light on the top of the truck glows. Can't wait to take this thing outside I was on training mode.

I’ve been nitro gang and 1/5 Baja gas platform for a while now just bought my first electric and I chose the slash vxl and I’m liking it I think this will be my second my cousin had the vxl 1/16 one

Hey man awesome video. Seriously thinkin of upgrading from my TMAXX to this monster machine. Only question i have is about the suspension.... Am i able to upgrade it or at least make it firmer for better landings off a jump?

Great job man! Your video convinced me to get one! Lol Brought me (back) into the world of RC. (It's been 25 years since I was racing my cousin with 2 Tyco fast trax lol). Since the old model is similarly named, I've found it difficult to find aftermarket parts. Less experienced bashers (noobs) like myself are seeing many bent suspension rods, /broken/ stripped rod ends, etc. If you know of any good modifications to this to enhance the rod links, perhaps you could test em and do another video or link us to some reccomended ones. I think traxxas really nailed it with this one. I've see this featured in articles and sites that have nothing to do with RC, and they're all raving about how awesome it is. I'm inclined to agree having owned it for just over a week now, Lol.

O man that thing looks sweet. I am picking one up asap. I was going for the proline mt 4x4 but its to much money. Traxxas def has a solid deal with this truck.
