I like you kitchen improvement plans. You have a great eye for improvements. You will have fun gardening. You can grow all your own produce because you have so much room. You can put hinged covers on the beds that you want to plant through the cold season. New windows are so great! This cottage offers much more light which you and Charley will love.

The Hudson Valley was always a favorite spot. Must be in my blood. Born in Yonkers, went to school in Tarrytown & still have lots of family around. Now I’m in PA on the DE River but the Hudson remains my fav.

Lovely little cottage. Please re-watch the drone view of the cottage and see if there’s a problem with your roof. It looks like there’s a gap or hole or something and wouldn’t want you to have a leak and subsequent mold problem. All the best on your reno!❤

Oh this is a sweet cottage but my first thought was WTH is with that kitchen? How awesome that your landlady agreed to changes you requested! They sound ideal for it. I can't wait to see the space with your stamp on it. And so many windows, perfect to let in some much-needed light during our gray NYS winters. That garden though .... nice in the dead of winter, it will be amazing once you get your hands on it!💚 The happiness and enthusiasm in your voice were a delight and very noticeable even with your cold (sure hope that's better)! I watched this video before going to bed last night and then literally could not go to sleep because I was so excited for you! I kept thinking how great the house and garden will be after you work your magic on them! I think that you would have regretted it every day, I'd you hadn't decided to move!

Kate, they sell a three step ladder called “ gorilla stepstool” at Home Depot for not much money, and very sturdy for both inside and out. I used to clean homes and a woman had one, so went and bought myself one, it comes in so handy for myself ❤it’s also collapsible, easy storage. I’m a 71yr. woman.

You were smart to hit up the thrifts in DE. A while back we were staying with family in Bethany Beach & we passed a ton of big thrifts on the way from the ferry. I always figured they would have great stuff. Vacationers in high rent districts! Cha-Ching ❤️
