I mean it’s very simple, he won his championship in 2020 solidifying his resume, started playing iffy in 2021 and then didn’t have a job, played in Taiwan and getting good sponsorship deals out of it. Then the news came out again that he’s a booty bandit so now they’re not tryna let him back in the NBA.

The media bullied the man and said “he didn’t take the game serious” got hurt and put with Kobe and Nash with Mike D’Antoni in an offense that wasn’t suitable for any of them. The rest is history.

He was the last great center who didn't shoot 3s

Man I don’t think the new generation understand how much of a monster you have to be to record a 30-30

The nba changed, traditionally centers are supposed to receive the ball and score, block and rebound. But now they are expected to play like a guard. They must be capable of taking threes, pass the ball around, set up screens and assist.

Dwight has always been underrated and not given the credit he deserves but I do have to admit some of it he brings on himself. The Van Gundy interview...tell me that wasn't cringe as hell. Remember after he won the finals he got exposed for cheating? Remember not even a year later he got accused of rape by a dude? Then he tried claiming we're hating on him for being gay? Like nah the gay thing ain't a problem it's the rape we want addressed Dwight..lol.

I was happy for him when he won in Orlando with the Lakers in 2020.

TJ Ford was solid. Nothing like a star player but at that time he was a solid starting point guard.

the thing i hate the most is how people act like he was bad after leaving Orlando yet Dwight averaged a double double every year but 4 and one of those 4 he was .8 rebounds away not saying he was on the elite level but he was a top 10 center almost every year after

I remember Howard when he wore the Superman cape in the NBA dunk contest. He was incredible.
