I lived my first 6 years above my grandparents' country general store. I am now 60 years old. The store had its own culture and was a very interesting intro to life. One Halloween I was sick and could not trick or treat, so I watched all the trick or treaters enter and exit the store from my bedroom window above. Never a dull moment really. While typing this, I am seeing your grilled cheese which was my favorite comfort food during my early childhood. Also, my parents took our family to beach and lake each summer and still have wonderful pics and films, so I know Jackson will cherish your videos which are priceless. "Future" Tim just scared me! You touched my heart when you said that it would be awesome to live above a store. That was my childhood living over the family business. It was a small independent grocery store and I always could find my parents tending to customers. Lovely memories of my parents caring and connecting to the surrounding community and those less fortunate. Even as a child I noticed. It wasn't just a business.
