  • 'Are you gonna mentor her?' 'No, I'm going to record it with her.' Quality right there 👏👏
  • HE WALKED HER BACK TO HER FAMILY & TALKED TO THEM AUGHH😫 MY HEART IS SO FULL.
  • She didn't even hear him, she was just happy to have met him. Wow.....
  • You could see in the audience that people were moved by her version. I wish her the best and to Boy George for all of the generosity he is bestowing on others! I love the 80's!
  • It’s nice to see someone change another’s life. Great move Boy George.
  • She was so star struck she didn’t hear a word he said. I loved that she soaked it in after they repeated it to her. So happy for her not everyday you get to meet your idol.
  • I can't blame her she loves Boy George. He stays himself, no matter what others say. A true spirit.
  • As someone born in 1977, the music of the 80's was HUGE in my life. There is still a huge nostalgia the minute i hear it. Hell, the moment a song from then starts, I know it. Boy George is a beautiful soul. Lucy, the 80's kindly welcomes you to the club.
  • Shame she didn't know he wanted to record the song with her... Wow she thought she was told no and she handled that so well. I love her already. Looking forward to her recording.

She is the luckiest girl got no chair turn but a possibility of bright future is ahead. She is recording this song with Boy George. So inspiring 👍👍

I'm still waiting for this collaboration. Come on George, make it happen.
  • That was awesome of George. He couldn't take her as he had a full team, but he would mentor her and do that song with her. So basically they would bypass everyone else going through the process. Lucy is a great singer and I agree, what she did with his song was fantastic. Yes it needs a bit of work, but with his help, his old track would get a new lease of life. I am old enough to remember when he first released it, I was a teenager in the 80's. What a fab decade that was to grow up in. Lucy Griffiths is one to watch, and see how she blooms as an artist
  • Boy George is a class act. Her tears of joy totally made me ugly cry. She’ll remember this the rest of her life. 💜
  • First audition and winning the voice straight to recording studio to do a duet with Boy George...at 16 without a chair turning.👏👏
  • I have never heard a Culture Club Song sung like an opera. She rocks! Good Luck to her.
  • and they say u should never meet your heroes.... she met hers and he was even better than she imagined🤩

Only Boy George would do such a lovely thing for his fans.
  • I don't know how many times I've watched this, but still can't get enough of it. I really do how they do work on it...it was beautiful
  • Oh bless. I love this. George is such a wonderful person and I love that Lucy is obsessed with the 80's at the age of 16 in 2020!!
