I was 400 in 2019. I’m 270 now and he was one of the people that motivated me to lose weight

Props to Ethan for discussing not only the physical but the mental components of his health. Respect.

Imagine the YEARS he added back onto his life by getting healthy and training. Absolutely incredible

This guy was in Remember the Titans, American History X, Blow, and My Name is Earl. Those are 4 completely different genres and are all incredible. He has quite a resume.

i really respect people who lose a lot of weight, it's very difficult
  • I am 190 I always been 145 my whole life at one point lower than that I've gained over 50 lbs in the last 4 years and now that I am engaged I am wanting more to be healthy again. youtube.com/post/Ugkx5VQ5nUzHu6i0O5_u7ipyLnCz0lbsS… I am not fat but I am thick and have muscle. I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. I went from size 5 to size idk because I don't even want to know the real number. I hate looking at pics of myself now or me before. Thank you for your video it's time to make a change.
  • Dude you are a true inspiration to me .at 57 I stepped on the scale in February and couldn't believe it said 300lb. I bought a bike ,started riding, I could barely ride around 1 block .I joined a gym for the first time in my life. I'm now down about 16lbs in 10 weeks .feeling much better and much stronger now.

I'm so glad he addressed the mental stuff, not just what routine worked physically. Physical gym stuff is actually easy. Its the ability to fight bad habits and bad self talk daily that isn't discussed enough. Good for you.
  • Its so nice to see people being acknowledged for making big, difficult changes.
  • @kevin084life
I was a huge My Name is Earl fan. Good to have him on.
  • @JBMoney.

I remember seeing this guy back in the late 90's early 2000's as this big fat guy, and seeing him as a jacked beast now makes me smile. The guy improved his own quality of life and probably will be around for years beyond where he would've been had he not cut weight.
  • "I've lost 200 lbs a couple of times" Jesus, that really puts it in perspective. This guy is incredible. Also shoutout to all my dudes and ladies with "formerly obese person" calves!
  • @SkilledJESDER
Ethan talks incredibly honest and open about himself. That is the greatest strength anyone can have in life. To recognize reality is to have the power to change it.
  • Looks amazing. I lost 10 pants sizes. It's not easy. Also I do relate to the negative self image from childhood. I was put on a diet at 7. I was 240 lbs as 12 years old. I'm 56 and have a 6 pack and am cut like I should have been 30 years ago. Don't give up ever. It is possible I swear. Just don't stop.

I have a neighbor he is probably 6'6" was big and fat and his knees were always in pain. I told him some of the stuff I was doing like cutting out carbs and extended fasts. Dude did a total Ethan Suplee. Next time I saw him he was happy and looked like a total tank.
  • "I don't look at myself and think 'God I look great'. I see nothing but negative stuff every day" God I feel this.
  • There should be a My Name Is Earl revival mini-series, which has Randy finally getting his shit together, losing weight, getting a job and his own house, but he’s still as clueless as ever.
  • Ethan is my generations “That Guy”. Boy Meets World, American History X, Evolution, Wolf of Wall Street, and Santa Clarita Diet. Not to mention a bunch of other stuff.
  • @FunkNatives
Who else remembers Ethan on Boy meets world and the episode where the late great WWF legend Vader played his dad?
