around here everyone wants 1k for a factory roller block and a only couple hundred for a non roller, might as well get the non roller block and link bar lifters!
  • Thanks for the all the info ! the weather looks like a great day for a drive
  • I saw that Dart block on marketplace and almost jumped on it myself. Happy to see you got it, can't wait to see what you make of it.
  • If you're going for big inch builds and big power, the heavier Dart blocks are worth every extra pound they add. Thicker casting, four bolt mains, you can punch them out to a 458 no problem; 460 if you give the sidewalls an extra tickle when boring, or you're generous when honing.
  • Great content thanks for the all the information

I am looking forward to the coil near plug. I do have some questions about throttle body spacers, I did not build this car I purchased and made some upgrades and terminator x and coil near plug and a 6 speed are on the short list.
  • I just ordered a Dart block. I'm building a 427.
  • Interesting video. You sure lucked into that aluminum block, even with the damage! I have been wondering about the new blocks that Blueprint are using. I know their main reason for making them is because the 351 cores are getting a little less available (I mean at a commercial engine remanufacturing production level) but wondered if they were anything approaching a Dart or Eagle level of strength. Or, are they just basically a stock block with 4 bolt mains?
  • So if Im looking for a 351 roller block for my '92 GT the years I need to look for are '94-'97? And numbers to look for are F4TE? Is that the 1st 4 #'s on the roller blocks or just the '94 you had there Sir?
  • Dan, did you ever get that big block fox on the scales? I'm curious the difference between a big block and a 351 with a turbo for nose weight.
  • Very cool to see the differences between them, and the weight differences as well. Nice pickup on that racing block.
  • Hi Daddy Dan, more excellent information. Speaking of blocks, there is an R302 block, never built except for an Eagle forged 3.25 crank installed, line honed, has main studs, square decked, cylinders bored to 4.020. Price is 3K. What do you think? Thank you good fellow

Neostangs, i need help, i have a 1990 lx 5.0 and need and want more power. it's all stock except for a off road H-pipe, smog pump delete, A/C delete shorty headers, and some weight reduction of over 300lbs+ I have a bbk 65mm throttle body, gt40 cobra upper/lower intake and I have a set of gt40 non P heads i pulled off a 1997 ford explorer that had 275,000 miles on it, i know i need some machine work done to the heads and will have them hot tanked and have them replace the valve stem seals, i plan on using the factory HO cam i was wondering can the stock ford explorer gt40 valve springs and rocker arms handle a factory mustang HO cam, if not should i upgrade the springs and if i do what springs should i go with because i'm tired of these new coyote 5.0 mustangs, 392 chargers/challengers and SS camaros. Or should i go with plan B, which I'm 👁 eye ballling over at LMR that 361hp blueprint engine crate motor for $5799.99
