Oh nothing better than hearing survivors being gruesomely murdered by creatures that came from hell itself
  • @vFANGv
The screams of those who had no plan.
  • Man. I love how unique the screams are in this game. Each one sounds so real and terrifying. I also love how after a scream you can heart a volatile as if someone just came in contact with one. Absolutely amazing.

Ah yes, my favorite sound to study, sleep, rest to: The screams of people turning cuz they didn't make it to a UV spot in time or just the sound of people getting torn to shreds by Zombies

"I never slept much at first when I went out, the screams, the roars and howls. Always being on edge, barely getting the sleep I need for the days. But as I grew more comfortable in that tower I settled in, and survived more days than others. I started to sleep, closing my eyes in the dark, knowing full well, that I'm not the one screaming." "Though all that went away when one damn volatile got nosey. Out of fear I settled back into the filthy settlement I came from, and got my first biomarker in the process. Lucky me."
  • My husband said it was alarming when he saw I fell asleep listening to this in my headphones. He just doesn't understand.

Those screams mean that their generator had run out of gas or batteries to power the UV lights

It always creeps me out when you hear someone screaming in the background from far away. I think "Jesus" and I always look around with hope if I see the one who's screaming to at least help him/her but you don't see nobody.

Most things you can hear are screams which is obvious thanks to someone in the comments who is a smartass, volatile screams, loud banging, viral screams, and chirping

Imagine you could find source of those sounds as random encounter. But this is type of things Rockstar do mostly

I still can't understand the hatred for DL2. Sure, A LOT has changed, but the atmosphere? Insanely good.

I love hearing sounds of people dying in background while studying trigonometry

Its sounds scary as hell, survivors are getting killed by mutated creatures. But I actually prefer night in dl1 cuz of darkness and scare from volatile. Night in dl2 is alot more lighter

These sounds are gone in the new update, I don't know if my game is bugged but there's almost no more night time ambience :( Or its because most of the safehouse have been opened meaning less people are dying
  • Always chilling when I hear a blood-curdling “NOOOOOOO!” amongst all the other horrific sounds of the night in this game.

Possibly my favorite thing about this game. Loved the night ambience

I don’t know if I’d call it a better overall game but I do know that I had much more fun exploring the map and it was a lot of fun concerning myself with what options I chose (even though the actual differences in narrative were inconsequential most of the time) they’re just different in my eyes. Both great and fun times all the same. I mean Crane to me seemed like a much stronger protagonist but Aiden was aighttttt. Idk I love these games what can I say?
  • Dying Light 1 safe houses (most) felt safe and peaceful. Dying Light 2 are a bit weird. Mosquitos will kill your faster
