  • Dave Grohl is like a typical rock fan who became a huge rock star. And he never lost sight of who he used to be.

Dave Grohl is one of the few famous ppl that didn't let fame or money change him. He's still just a kid who loves music
  • I never get tired of watching Dave being interviewed. He's always got great stories and he's such a down to earth guy!

When Kurt died, my heart broke. I never knew that Dave Grohl would be the one to mend it. Thank you, Dave.

"First of all, I didn't start it" Justification level 100.
  • @Kanoog
I'm adding him to the list with people like Keanu Reeves. By that I mean, they are both humble people who didnt let fame and fortune go to their heads.
  • @Wagefreedom
"You never know how much Beatle stuff you have in your house until a Beatle comes over". He's so funny and down to earth, I could listen to him all day. 😀
  • @Jmilillo
He says "When I was in Nirvana" like It's no big deal.

Oh Momma Grohl, I cannot imagine what strength and faith it takes to tell your child it’s ok to drop out of school and be a rock star. That must have been so hard, especially being a school teacher. I’m glad she did though because her son is a beautiful soul and a badass musician. Congrats to them both in the doc.

I don’t drink but I would never pass up an opportunity to drink with Green Day.
  • It’s really nice to see Jimmy let his guests, or co-hosts, talk and tell their stories without him interrupting. It’s refreshing to see a talk-show, be a talk-show
  • @podrouzk
The question is.. who wouldn't want to drink with Green Day?
  • @bsq2rd449
Jimmy actually let him talk and didn’t laugh or talk the whole time !! Well done.

I watched an interview with Taylor Hawkins a couple of years ago & he said that Mamma Grohl is the best person ever to have backstage at a show! She’s supportive and funny and gets the beers in when needed!!
  • @bobbyhorne2291
One of the better Fallon interviews I’ve seen. He seemed to really let his guest speak with little to no interruption through this interview. It felt like a normal conversation. Well done.
