“So how did you start your musical career?” Nandi “I drummed for the Foo Fighters when I was eleven.”

Every time i think Dave Grohl can't get cooler.... he gets cooler.
  • He never refers to her as a kid, simply just “this person.” So much respect to Dave.

Dave Grohl is so cool to these kids. The smile on that girl's face when everyone is chanting her name is priceless. A lifelong memory for her.

She didn't "do a nice job". She didn't "get close". She absolutely, 100% crushed it, put it in her pocket, and walked out the door with it. That was awesome.

This video represents why the Foo Fighters have stayed relevant longer than any other band of their era.

I'm a 40 year grown ass man and this brought a tear to my eye.. you rock Nandi!
  • @tydenz-sp8sy
The way she stops herself from throwing the last drumstick and asks Taylor “can I keep this one?” the sweetest moment captured on video man 🥹 that was awesome 👏🏼
  • For those who don't drum, this is a very complex song to drum to with very fast, very odd transitions that requires a ton of endurance. To my knowledge, Dave has never allowed a drummer come on stage to play this particular song because he knows they're probably gonna screw it up or get tired and fall behind. The fact that he allowed her to play this song says that he has the utmost confidence in her abilities.

The fact Taylor sat this one out and let her drum instead of drumming too, showed how proud of her he was. Hope she keeps drumming in Taylor’s honour
  • @martelvonc
I love how she hesitated to toss out both drumsticks. She wanted to keep one as HER souvenir. Lucky person in the audience who caught the first one.
  • @I-play-bass
favourite thing about how she plays is whenever she does a snare roll she screams as loud as she can it’s so awesome
  • When your kid asks for a musical instrument, buy it. Cause every once in a while you get magic like this.

I'll never understand why some people hate on Dave Grohl. He's the most kind-hearted person in the world, and he wants every musician on the planet to be successful.
  • @m0nk3yl0v3r
Fucking fair play to her - being allowed to play on Everlong is just about the highest honour available in Foo Fighters
  • At 9:15 is probably my favorite part. That face and her scream! That's almost a gutteral primal scream! Raise those horns Nandi! You earned it!

Moments like this is why Dave Grohl is the coolest guy in rock ‘n’ roll.
  • @TSKseattle
She didn't just play well, she knew where to come in with his breaks. She just understands music.
  • @CancerCanRock
Her talent has been apparent for awhile and it was great that they played so well together - favorite part was at the end, talking to Taylor... "I wanna keep one." :) ❤
  • @mondesi83
I love how she hesitated to throw away the last drum stick in the audience because she wanted to have a souvenir. Taylor immediately understood :)
