As a player he was one of the deadliest 3pt shooters, as a coach he helped guide the GSW to their 1st championship since 1975 and then 3 more rings after that, as a trainer he helped hone people like Steph Curry into who Curry is today and its no surprise some of the most proficient 3 point shooters in the league right now are all on his team, and as both a former player himself and someone who is training the next generation he knows a shooter when he sees one.
