Friends, a connection with God leads to life and flourishing. When we sever that connection, we experience a drought similar to the one in our first reading today. The Lord responds to our needs, so trust in his providence, and he will not abandon you.

  • I am eighty six years old,I am living in an assisted living facility. I have never felt more discouraged, lonely, horrible arthritic pain , need almost99% care. Your message today is giving me encouragement. I have no idea why I am still alive. I remember the phrase…when all else fails, trust in God. Please pray for me!!!🙏

Today 6/21/24, I asked my guardian angel to help me show me the message God wants me to know by typing in “catholic sermon” on YouTube. I told my guardian angel to let the message be the first result for catholic sermons on YouTube. This was he result. Thank you Lord Jesus.
  • Hi. I'm a grad student from Brazil. This video has helped me countless times throughout the months. Most recently, I've been dealing with a heartbreak due to "the one" ending things rather suddenly. Anyway, it's comforting to think God might have a greater purpose for my life and also hers. A big part of the pain comes from the realisation that I haven't been a good judge of character, and so unpleasant things keep happening. God help us all and save us from our ignorance.
  • My grandmother always said, "The only thing you can take with you, is what you've given away."

Bishop Barron, you have a true gift. You let God speak through you and tell a story we have heard for years, you tell it in a way that it actually makes sense to “our own” life and to trust being thrown out of comfort zone. Thank you for all the years of inspiration and guidance. It’s because of you I am back!

"When you're in your greatest distress, give --- in love --- even the little that you have, and you're going to find that the resources don't dry up. In fact, they multiply." I love this line so much. It encourages me today. Thank you.

A year later and this is exactly what I needed to hear… I went to World Youth Day with a spiritual dryness and left Lisbon with spiritual dryness. The reminder to trust in Him is prominent, so thank you for your amazing work Bishop 🙏
  • God is revealing the supernatural laws that can be made operational in this world of ours for our advantage. For this we need to trust in Gods Word
  • I've been a Secular Carmelite for 40+ years and I know this story well. This is the first time it moved me to tears. I'll certainly take this to prayer today. Thank You.

"Your being increases in the measure that you give it away." - BISHOP BARRON
  • Bishop Barron, keep cracking that laughter and smiles, it's quite infectious in a positive and delightful way! We love Bishop, keep us soaked in God’s word. God be with you always 🙏
  • @fxc
Let us pray for the 6 people who gave truth a thumbs down. Bishop Barron keep up the good work.
  • “Your being increases in the measure as you give it away. “ what a beautiful idea as we live each day. I offered a man payment for some help he gave me when my car broke down. He simply said we all can do good. Just pay it forward my friend. Modern day reminder of the Bishops great homily!!!
