Isn't Stromae SO cool?! What did you learn about this musical maestro? 😉

"When you start to be a hater, maybe it's the right time to do yourself something." That's the best advice I've heard in years.

So this is what I gather from this interview: Stromae is Belgian, who grew up around Turks, Moroccans, Congolese, and Rwandans, loves LA weather, speaks French, Flemish, Spanish and English, is inspired by Japanese, Ethiopian and South American music, collaborates with Chinese musicians, would like to work with Colombian, American and English singers, enjoyed performing in Montreal (Canada), and loves Mexican food. A real man of the world.

Stromae is such a legend people who haven’t found his music don’t know what they’re missing

As a fairly new fan of Stromae I have to say I’m quite surprised by how incredibly down to earth, humble, honest & relaxed he seems in this video. Very impressed with multi-linguistic skills. He also doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously like some artists have a tendency to do these days. Terrific video!

A collaboration between Adele and Stromae would be INCREDIBLE 🙌✨😍

"I'm an old boy now, so I need to sleep" 😂😂😂 As a fan I already knew the answers to most of those questions, but... I see Stromae, I click 😉 Also I love the way he talks about his wife 🥺

It's cool to watch his English getting better over time, especially now that he's really blowing up in English-speaking countries.

I'm a huge fan of Stromae, I might even say I have seen almost all his interviews available. But this one has to be one of the most interesting/fun cause it seems like a very casual coffee conversation. It was a very insightful interview and learned more about my favorite artist. Merci Fuse!

Oh my god I could watch 2000 hours of this. He’s so real.
  • @lordpreminger
I love how honest he is and he admits to these feelings of jealousy and hatred and turns them into good. His music is amazing and his motives even better. Merci Stromae, vous etes le meilleur chanter💯
  • Wow his English is so good. I like that he says his wife is his best friend. I saw a video of him being harassed in his car once while he was eating and he was so polite to these idiots who were being so rude. So calm. Shows what kind of a person he is. He’s so talented too. Proper artist.
  • @Moofydakidd
I absolutely love this guy. I’m genuinely proud of his success (has nothing to do with my heritage at all 😂)
  • @Fjordes
In the 7 years I've listened to his music this is the first time I've heard him speak english, it's so good!
  • @lumKyo
"I'm an old boy now so I need my sleep" - as a fellow millenial I feel so seen. So glad to see him back and doing his stuff, I've missed his art.
  • I’m shocked he’s 38. This man is almost 40 but looks like he’s in his 20’s wow
  • 5:50 i've never seen an interview that touches this topic, the bad aspects of being a human being and accepting that you are wrong but can change direction, i appreciate Stromae for being so honest here, each time i learn more about him i realise he is an incredible artist, really someone to look up to!
  • @jwn0be
The music is fantastic but the lyrics did me in. If you don't understand french and think Stromae is just party music... You're wrong. His raps are super real; goosebumps and tears real. I compare him (like many do and was not my idea) to Jacques Brel. Glad to have this icon back on the scene

“… in A city called Brussels” 😂😂😂 he mentioned it as if it’s a super random city and he was explaining to aliens.
