A few notes: 1: The signature on the letter declaring Biden was dropping out does not match the signature on his last several Executive Orders and it lacks the Presidential seal, so don't be too surprised if he comes out tomorrow claiming he's still in the race. It's one of those unprecedented events we haven't done yet, so may as well make it happen and cross it off the national bucket list. 2: Nobody is really contesting this because everyone knows he would be replaced by Kamala, it was just a question of before or after the election. 3: It had to be Kamala because the millions of dollars of campaign funds for Biden could only be legally transitioned to Kamala. Anyone else has to start from scratch. 4: Vice Presidents don't always become presidents, so at this point, both the Kamala and her VP pick could be token throw away candidates. As much as they want a nice obedient President like Kamala, I think the Dems understand this election is a wash and that they need to spend the next 4 years building up someone new. 5: All these people that are all surprised that Biden is a vegetable just haven't been paying attention or have been just riding a lie till it ran out. People have been questioning his mental fitness for 16 years.
