Eckhart’s teachings are true food for the soul. My life has transformed since I found him.
  • You are so right! I'm Australian. In 1991 I had gone to Europe for a holiday. I felt I had finally 'got there' in my life, then I saw my reflection in the mirror. The realisation that I could run to the other side of the world and not run away from myself hit me like a brick. When I finally stopped meditating as a process to enlightenment and accepted mediation and the presence of the Devine into my being each time I meditated - simply 'being' in at that moment, accepting that all we ever have is the now, I finally began feeling truly happy. Happiness is where you live, they say, happiness is where you 'are'. You said it best years ago when you said life is not a destination, it is a journey and you never stop learning. Thank YOU for 'being' so we too can become the best versions of ourselves.

Happiness is within. I stopped trying to find happiness outside my world and I'm finally content.

Because we're always waiting for the destination instead of appreciating the journey.

I have discovered quite recently that there is a core consciousness inside myself that I can choose to experience my life through instead of the personality I used to think of as myself and that, with practice, it is possible to "step into" that consciousness at will. It is incredibly hard to put into words, but when I live through this core consciousness there is no such thing as lack beyond the basic needs of the body for survival. There is only love and contentment. Not love for another, but being love in the way that you can be happy or be sad. I have discovered that if I am alert and step into this core consciousness as soon as I feel my old self returning, I can avoid the bad habits I've had all my life. I suspect that this core consciousness even has different physical limitations, possibly no physical limitations. I am in no way religious, but I believe this may be what Jesus meant when he said the kingdom of heaven lies within.

This man brings you peace within seconds of speaking. As an explorer of the mind and soul, I have read and practiced a lot of different philosophies and techniques, especially buddhism/hinduism. But he and his book really opened me to simple yet profound truth, as no one else. He lets down rituals and other religious/institutional stuff, which often ruins it all.

One enlightened being defined God as infinite awareness. Then proceeded to tell his students how to make friends with God: Offer yourself up as a friend without expectations or demands.
  • Happiness is relative. We take the worst situations in our lives and call them unhappy and then we take the better days and call ourselves happy. It's all relative. There is something beyond happiness which is achieved when one thoroughly understands this and sees it from a greater perspective.
  • Hi Eckhart you are a blessing to this world. Thank you so much for changing my life and helping me realize Blissfulnes

The present moment is all you have and it's rarely your enemy. This sentence from Eckhart changed my life, since when in moments of anxiousness, I'm now able, after listening to many of his talks, to only concentrate in this precise moment, which is the only true reality I have and it gives me peace. Thank you!
  • "Suffer what there is to suffer. Enjoy what there is to enjoy" Nichiren Daishonin Thank you Eckhart for another wise talk 🙏
  • So beautiful. Now, here are the pointers to the real 'home coming' that has eluded us for so long. Thank you, Eckhart.
