-- Vagus Nerve Exercises To Rewire Your Brain From Anxiety --

If you’re someone who frequently struggles with anxiety -- or even just worried thoughts -- you might think your brain is broken.

Not true.

Anxiety is actually a survival mechanism.

It tells you when you’re in danger -- or at least when your nervous system believes it is.

Anxiety tells you to step away from a high cliff edge so you don’t fall to your death. It warns you when a person has bad intentions (usually we call this intuition).

But we can experience anxiety in situations where we are actually safe -- and that’s when it becomes a problem.

In these cases, your nervous system has gotten “stuck” in danger mode. The whole world suddenly looks like it’s out to get you.

Cue the anxiety!

This is a big problem because “danger” can look like making new friends or business connections.

It can mean putting yourself out there for a promotion or going for a big new client.

It can shake your confidence -- literally, by giving you the jitters -- before your big competition.

Anxiety can tell you to stay small, play it safe, keep to your lane -- when what you really want is to reach for the stars.

Most anxiety treatments focus on changing your thoughts -- thinking positively, using affirmations, etc.

Or, they might suggest taking a deep breath (hard to do when your diaphragm is frozen in fear -- and yes, this happens).

What we really need are methods to jolt your nervous system out of danger mode and back into safe and happy mode (assuming you’re not actually in physical danger, of course).

This doesn’t happen at the thought level -- it happens in your biology.

In your autonomic nervous system, to be exact.

Your vagus nerve is part of your autonomic nervous system and functions to help your body deal with stress.

This video gives you three vagus nerve exercises to rewire your anxious brain and bring you back to a centered state.

As always, check with your doctor before implementing any new exercises into your routine, especially if you have any pre-existing injuries or health conditions. If you feel any adverse effects, stop immediately and consult your physician. Check out this video next! --> Vagus Nerve Reset To Release Trauma Stored In The Body https://youtu.be/eFV0FfMc_uo

As a board certified physician with many years of experience, i appreciate these exercises. All doctors see anxious patients. All doctors need to know non-pharmacological interventions such as these.
  • Finally !!! Months of searching - diet, meditation, exercising, healing, coping skills etc... a few minutes into your exercises and the misery actually began to dissipate. The language of gratitude can not adequately express my appreciation of your gift.
  • @darkwilds
That is unbelievable. I have had migraines and neck tension for over 20 years. I have just done these exercises and my neck feels brand new 💗

For the past several years I have not been able to stand for more than a minute without feeling like I am going to pass out. I have been EMS to the hospital 4 times in the last 3 months. Last time I passed out in a Dr.s office. They have done heart test after heart test. I was diagnosed with orthostatic hypotension. I found your video today. I did the 3 exercises. They work!!! I have spent the last several hours up and cleaning my house. Tomorrow I plan on going outside and walking. Thank You, and GOD BLESS YOU!!!
  • Thank you. You just saved me. I have been palpitating for over 20mins😢 thank you. I don't have money for all this treatments😢. Thank you very much. God bless you.🙏

Thank you so much, Suki! I’ve been experiencing some uncertainties and it’s been giving me extra anxiety, which among other symptoms, has been tension in my shoulders and the back of my neck. While I did these, the tension eased after each exercise. I learned from you about it being not just thought based, but that these anxiety symptoms can also be from emotions. I love you!
  • @EmilyAllan
After 44 years of living with body tension and anxiety that couldn't be solved with any drugs and never released even after heavy exercise, this is the first relief I have felt almost immediately. I wept like a baby before finishing the 4th exercise. Such relief. Incredible.

Tilting the head and looking up in the opposite direction is really releasing stuff!!! I set a stop watch and just let it happen, it’s amazing how much my body would fight it or lose focus and wouldn’t even look in the correct place. I just relaxed into it and let it happen. 6 minutes later I’m releasing toddler age trauma I had completely forgotten about.

The last 5 days I’ve had attacks on my bathroom floor, causing nausea and vomiting, at the same time every morning for hours at a time. I just found this video, and I’m crying because I haven’t had relief all week. Thank you so much for this. ♥️
  • This is the first time I have EVER heard someone say anxiety has a physical aspect to it. I've been told it was all in my head and if I could think it through I could fix it OR a pill could fix it. On my own I've learned to handle it over the years. When I discovered the vagus nerve, it was an eye opening, ah-ha moment, because one of my symptoms when anxiety was triggered flashed though that pathway like an arrow to my solar plexus. When I put 2 and 2 together it was a light bulb, life changing moment. Never have I considered there was actual exercises I could do that would help to physically release the iron fist that wouldn't let me get anxiety under control. I could feel it a bit the first time when I half heartedly went through the 3 simple exercises. And then later I did them paying more attention. It's amazing that I can physically squeeze the nerve that has been so in control of so many terrible moments in my life. At the very least it's a start. And to think I almost dismissed this video and scrolled on by. I'm looking forward to learning more. You have my undying gratitude ♥️
  • @Willcaro333
I felt calmer after the first exercise! Dealing with some nausea from a lingering stomach bug and my anxiety is thru the roof from not being able to eat. This felt grounding. Thank you!

@SukieBaxter I want to thank you for your channel. I had a stroke when I was 11 lost my peripheral vision. At the time 1980, the mental health long term trauma was not even looked at. 44 years later, I just lost my job, performance issues, but I realized cognitive issues, depression, anxiety, I have been dealing with all my life and thought this was life. I have been working on ways to reprogram my mind and it’s ways of operating and your channel has really helped me out. I just wanted to thank you for how you have helped. There IS help out there, don’t live your life in mental torment. This channel along with others creates a fantastic library of help and support!!! Thank you Sukie

It baffles me how ENTITLED some people in the comments are. Instead of being grateful for this invaluable, informed, FREE information and a literal step-by-step guide. Thank you Sukie! Please don't listen to the negative comments.
