Hurricane resistant Prefab Homes are available in the United States right now. Two of the most requested items requested in the comments of my channel are homes available on the East Coast and homes that will hold up in extreme weather. Today I am happy to announce that I found a company that cover both. Steel Homes Modular is a Florida based Prefab Home company building steel frame modular homes that hold up in 178mph winds. In this video I look at who they are, what they offer and where people can get one. Watch and learn more about Steel Homes Modular and their modern steel frame modular homes.

  • Just watched this a few hours ago and I was like “WHATT, on Miami!?!?” That’s where I stay… looked it up immediately and I drove down there… it’s in the industrial side of Opa-locka… and I just got out of the place. large facility and though they were about to close Jennifer received me and my wife with no appointment. She explained how they work and their payment structure… (General contractor required) a bit pricey but these are turn key ready… we say their outside model and this was just a dream… exactly what me and the wife are looking for… and your right… the have a BUNCH of different models in their catalog. They asked how did I hear about them and I told them and showed them your you tube channel… They laughed and now knew why they been having such high call volume in the past day or so… Kerry… thank you so much for the on-site as this is literally only 25 minutes from my home!!! Your the best and keep them videos coming!!!

LOVE that last 2 bedroom model! I am a Floridian, and bug proofing and hurricane Protection are a must, so two thumbs up! Also an A+ for square walls!
  • I've been building with them for the last 5 years, it's an incredible product it's giving me and my team flexibility to look for additional lots to continue construction. Their professionalism and product is above any in the industry. They are the real deal incredible family business. I've built the Rose, the Sunflower, the Lily and the Sunflower duplex. They've all worked incredibly for me. My final completion once the homes arrives is between 30 to 45 more days to get the final C.O. Once you're hooked you can't build any other way. For me it's been less stress seamless and streamline. Would highly recommend them.

Kerry, Thank You Thank You Thank YOU !! Formosan Termites are all over the northern gulf of mexico and coming to a theater near you Soon. They are a horror show. The colonies are hundreds of times the size of terrestrial termites and they FLY in, so no ground treatment helps. They eat the house, the book shelves and the books! I am not joking. A patient of mine brought in just such a book after her home was demolished by the bugs. No insurance covers the loss. Steel or concrete are the only way to go now, at least in this area. I saw a 5 year old home get eaten recently. This steel is wonderful. THANK YOU KERRY !!

Very nice-looking homes. I hope they give you some prices soon. I like the idea of steel construction especially since termites can't eat them ! I guess hurricane resistant is pretty important too, especially in Florida. 😏

I grew up in Miami. My mother still lives there. I love the modern look and the steel frame. The three bedroom one is my favorite. I went and subscribed to their Instagram. Definitely a company worth keeping an eye on. Great update Kerry. 😎

I like the first one, these are really a good idea. They take the Manufatured Home or Double wide and turn it into one better that stick built. They are probably manufacturing the tiny homes as well. Even a 500 is good size. I owned a home that was 660 ft, 2 bedroom, 1 bath from the 1920s. That house was really bult well, it had even been moved and had no way to tell it. I REALLY like that they recycle metal from Cars. Sustainable all away around.

Great floorplans and designs! Looks like they will last a while, hurricane or not. Thanks, Kerry! 🙏👍

870 sq ft would work for me....Would love 1000 or closer to that but 870 is really ok or even good...depending on lay out and storage space.... so I am delighted to see this . If could afford it , I would love the duplex idea to rent and help pay for it. Another awesome find with some good points you brought up that this kind has to offer and that make it a possible preference over others we have seen...tho w/o prices is hard to assess that...i appreciate just knowing about these for now. Thanks Kerry...you're so good to us with finding and showing and explaining these.
