Funny how people make fun of spyderco fans saying they over pay so much but we have companies like benchmade selling old steels and marking up way more then spydercos. At least spydercos using all sorts of steals and not afraid to use differnt blade shape or drilling a hole right on the blade breaking molds by being bold.

As a seasoned Spyderco collector l found this video very enjoyable and informative. My favorite thing about Spyderco, especially the PM2, is you can easily modify them to make your own. Recently I added burlap micarta scales and deep carry clips to my two Shamans and it really dresses them up nicely. ❤ Happy collecting. 😂

I'm brand new to knife collecting. First knife is already a dream knife, the reate exo m. But recently found out spiderco is colorado based and today went to their factory direct warehouse in golden. Chase was very knowledgeable and helped me learn more about knives and helped me pick up knife 2 and 3: military 2 and delica 4. Really happy with them. He was also very upfront with some details like the fact i could find them cheaper online (like blade hq) but i have no problem paying a little more premium to support local.

I had two benchmades. The springs on one rusted to failure. The other one had both springs break simultaneously while opening. Now I’m a spyderco guy. Never had a problem with their locks

Love my Manix 2 in S110V. Spyderco is just a perfect high quality production company period with a soul these days. There's something for everyone in all price classes. And I think sal and Eric are such admirable warm hearted people.

Manix 2 is my all time favorite knife. So ergonomic, awesome locking mechanism, wire clip, and nice slicey blade.

I own a Spyderco UKPK because I live in a country with stricter knife laws so I really appreciate their slip joints.. safer use than most other slip joints because of great ergonomics, built quality and the best finger choil ever.. love it!

Great video. While I do love a number of their designs, 3 things keep me coming back. Quality, steel variety & heat treatment. Only ever had a couple of minor quality issues - mostly to do with blade centring. Now I appreciate steel variety & heat treating may not be of interest to many. However, if you want a variety of steel in your diet & you want to know that you're getting the best out of it, then I can easily recommend Spyderco. You'll notice that Spyderco rarely leads the charge in using new steels because they take their time to dial in a good heat treat first. I'll take the halo off now. Sharp blades all.

I have a PM2 in maxamet. I love the way the steel tarnishes and shows its age. I was gutted when it first got marked and spoiled the pristine asthetic but I love the battle scars now.

Been EDCing the PM2 with the full spidey edge for about 5 years now! I try carrying other knives from time to time, but always come back to my precious!
  • I got the 15V PM2 as my first Spyderco. Been using it to open boxes and stuff at work daily ever since, and it still slices through paper like a laser. The ergos are great, and I may never need to put an edge on it at this rate. That steel is awesome.

Great video!. I'll be sure to add a few of these to my collection.
  • @MrFangFan
I love this guide! I can't wait for a Cold Steel one!

Great video. Big Spyderco fan. Take it from a guy that owns around 200 Spyderco's. Love the ergo's, steel selection's. Thank you.👌👍😉

Started with sub 5 dollar gas station fish bowl knive that was next to the cash register, then bought a two cheap Spydercos- meadowlark / Byrd, then I decided to buy a tenacious which was about double the price, which I still carry edc. Along with other knives, I bought a Gayle Bradley2, Smock, and a pm2 in maxamet

This is by far the best video in YouTube showing main Spyderco knives. Great knives selection and very well presented. A lot of valuable information there!
  • I've been looking at buying a Spyderco for a while, I think I found what I'm looking for with this video, thanks!
  • @martinneuliep6133
