I love how with the dogs it's almost always "I don't think they will try anything but just in case..." And with cats it's usually "Please don't kill me"

Greta was a good girl! She seemed to just accept her fate and lay down while letting you work on her, but wow she was so calm nevertheless.

I like how Vanessa asks these innocent questions like "Are you going to be difficult" to cats, when the answer is always on some level "definitely yes".

That little face peeking out of the happy hoodie is just the most precious thing. She is adorable! Lovely story about Kaz. I really admire your dedication to animals. It's amazing that you traveled so far to rescue them, but sacrificing months of income to nurse a sick kitty? Wow!

Several observations 1. Vanessa keeps saying "It's Ok" Greta is looking at her with "I do not think it means what you think it means.” eyes! 2. Greta is pretty chill, like she is pretty used to people pampering her 3. Greta is a FLOOFY BEAUTY!

My cat has floofy paws, and since we have hardwood floors, sometimes when she gets the zoomies she runs in place for a couple of seconds at the start. It's very funny. 😹

Greta was definitely the goodest girl for her groom. Her plaintive meows in the tub were so adorable. Despite her complaints, she handled this all ver well. I hope we get to see her again. She’s a beautiful girl and her people obviously care about her very much. I’m sorry you had to give up Kaz, but I’m glad his new people still keep in touch occasionally. You went through a lot to bring him to a new life in Canada.

Rehoming a pet for that pet's best life IS a loving thing to do, putting the pet first and our feelings second. Proper rehoming is nothing like abandoning an animal. Kudos to you for putting the cat above your own feelings.

The cut from rage cage to lap was quite unexpected, loved seeing her relax into it was great 😊

Wow! I'm from Kazakhstan and when I heard about Kaz, I was so surprised! It's definetely a very long trip from Kazakhstan to Canada, glad that many cats and dogs were adopted and saved. Cheers from LA California!

Hearing you speak about Kaz shows how you really do have a deep understanding and empathy for all animals; great and small. It's hard to part with a beloved pet but when it comes to their best interests and health sometimes you just have to. It must have been so tough for you to go through (as they say, cats leave pawprints on your heart!) but your intentions are clear and it's admirable that you put his safety before your own emotions.
