Thanks for the video . The PA279CV looks more deeper and better to my eyes

This was immensely helpful. I haven't found anyone else who compared them in such a way that you could actually meaningfully see the screens. I'm watching this video on the 1440 version, and your 4K looks much better, even more so when I watch on my Lenovo chromebook. Not even close. All the variables like YouTube compression and my own monitors affect both equally, so having them side-by-side really gives a good comparison.
  • @OnwuDesigns
    Very informative video, great comparisons
  • @gravitalez
Great Video! Do you make the connection through HDMI or Display Port? (In a macbook air m1)
  • @emryspaperart
regarding the question about how warm the screens are - surely this is part of the calibration that helps ensure colour accuracy? after all, screens by default are usually /aggressively/ blue tinted to make whites look extra crisp (at the expense of your eyeballs), in a way that paper and print will never be.

27" is too small for 1:1 4K res. on 16:9. Best res. for this size is 1440p. Especially if you do UI work. To utilize 4K at least "31.1 or preferably 32" is optimal. In that regard my recommendation is the Eizo ColorEdge CG319X 32 4K. This product also has much better Adobe RGB coverage if you do photographic work and the best color accuracy on the market.

Great work! Did you scale the display in your macbook? Or use the default scalling? I have a concern that scalling affects the performance. I need to switch to 2K from 4k because of this scalling issue. I appreciate if you help me.
  • did you need to buy any adapter mounts for the pa279cv and the pa278qv when mounting it on the VIVO dual monitor stand?
  • @redtesla9199
Could you set up a user profile and use a color calibration tool to calibrate it to the Adobe RGB color space?
  • @alpinyoable
Is there a big noticeable difference between 4K and QHD on the resolution side? Is it noticeable the pixelation in QHD in normal daily use? Should I wait and buy the 4K?
  • @jwkenny3
do you have a link to the mount you are using? love the video
  • @Bakazinha
I see many gaming monitors having better AdobeRGB coverage and 100 % SRGB or close at lower prices and much higher HZ. Is there any reason to buy this over a monitor like the Gigabyte M27Q or others? Other than 4K resolution
  • @fikardam
Does the pa279cv had suffer backlight bleed ? Mine does, on the right upper corner 😢 it is noticeable on black scene while watching movie

Hey Ricardo I'm a Product Designer and I'm planning to buy this monitor, I just wanna know your opinion on this monitor. Do you think is it perfect for product designer? Is it good for doing UI Design? Do you find any color shift on this, like you choose a HEX code and it shows a slightly different color? Thanks in advance ☺️
