These inside factories videos from the USSR are excellent. Would love to see more cars such as Zaporozhets, Volga, etc. also other industries like asbestos, nickel, and heavy industry
  • @Snufkin812
My favorite Soviet truck! They have a beautiful light blue paint.
  • @theyoutubeguy1
The way they were transported on that train looks crazy. Imagine being the guy who first suggested doing that.
  • A friend of mine tried to get his ukrainian lorry license, and the test vehicle was one of those zils. I asked him if he had to double clutch when he changed gears. And yes, it didn't have a synchro mesh, low tech, in modern times.
  • Excellent footage . Very interesting footage not just on the industrial side ; it’s the faces of the people . Great taste in the accompanying music .
  • From the looks of it, this appears to be during the 1970s. That factory looks very clean and very well organized. Oh yep, definitely the 1970s as there's Coimrade Eyebrows himself. 🤣
  • @MrJayrock620
I’m guessing that production was made much easier by having every truck built the same.
  • This is such a good video!!! I love the music paired with it too.

I own a 1979 GMC 6000 Roughly that size... bumper sticker says...where will your truck be in 44 years.
  • @amartinjoe
that is a beautiful black and white film!
  • @RandomDudeOne
This was actually filmed three years ago in Chelyabinsk.

ZiL-130 is my favourite truck of all times. Beautiful growl from its v8 engine, lots of nostalgia for soviet people, great capabilities, and very beautiful. It's a strangely elegant thing for what it's made for!
  • They look like some years of International trucks as well as some maybe late 1950's Dodge trucks.
  • comrade Brezhnev probably requested a medal for himself after pinning one to the Zil plant's flag 🤣 Neat video 👍
  • ZiL got their money's worth from that design. They made them for decades, and the only times changes were made, were when the laws changed. It's a shame they're gone, now. The factory site is being redeveloped as a mixed use project.
