Gina Carano Fired From Disney

Our country is barely a Democracy anymore if no one from the Right can express their opinions.

I mean tbh I can't really say it's wrong or surprising you can say what you want but it doesn't mean you won't have consequences. You won't get arrested but you can get fired from a job for saying certain shit so this is no different

Disney made a stupid decision. She was doing so well in the first two seasons. Which are probably the only two seasons of the series.

This is just bad I'm pissed they did damage to one of my favorite shows ever. Cara Dune is one of my favorite Mandalorian characters along with Grogu and Mando.

I will still watch The Mandalorian but this is madness. Gina didn't deserve what happened to her! I hope they will just remove Cara Dune now; Carano is ONLY Cara Dune there is! Either way, this is not the way!

Tbh I prefer Gina Carano in Deadpool than The Mandalorian but I think she was a badass in both roles.

Regardless of how you feel about this, it was very silly of you to bring up the 1st amendment since it and all of the rights in the Bill of Rights purely protect you from the government, and not anyone else (they all clearly state that they prohibit Congress and the government from doing the things they prohibit), so this is not at all a 1st amendment issue since it has nothing to do with the government, you could be opposed to this action but you shouldn't have brought up the 1st amendment, because it's a moot point when the government isn't involved. If you don't believe, then believe what it says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." It is clearly only about the government because it states CONGRESS shall make no law and doesn't state anything else.

I agree with StarWarsOnly's video on this about saying that she shouldn't have been fired but she shouldn't have went too far with her comments. I remember Pedro Pascal did a controversial post but he deleted it right after. But, I think what they did to Gina Carano was horrible.

We're not in the 80s anymore. It's 2021..deal with it. If your job is at stake just shut your mouth. There's a right place and right time for everything and being stupid on Twitter is not the place. Hasn't she learned from other celeb mistake? But hey I do believe things happen for a reason and this might be better for her to move on.

LucasFilm is terrible right now. Like or hate the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, Kathleen Kennedy is pathetic and that should be a fact. I wonder how LucasFilm would do if they would fire Kathleen Kennedy.

To clarify the whole “beep/boop/bop” thing: People were hounding her to put her preferred pronouns in her Twitter bio and calling her transphobic for not doing it, so she put “beep/boop/bop” in her bio as a way of making fun of them.

I don't mind working with both sides of the political spectrum when it comes to films.
