Ukrainian soldiers are continuing with their incursion in Russia’s Kursk region. The Ukrainian troops have entered 30 kilometres inside the Russian territory. Ukrainian officials have said that the assault is aimed at destabilising Russia and stretching its forces. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the Kursk incursion a “fair response” to Russian strikes. Russia has acknowledged Ukrainian troops' presence on its territory. Russia has launched “counter-terror operations” against Ukrainian soldiers. Kursk incursion followed months of Russian advances in eastern Ukraine.
