I’ll show you how to make 💎 (diamond) end grain cutting board designs that are unique and use the grain of the wood to make a statement. These are butcher block style and even though they look extra fancy they can be DIY projects for those with a workshop that has a table saw and a router.

Love the diamond/bow tie look. For end grains I love to use a chamfer bit on the bottom and leave the top square, kind of makes it look like it’s floating. I would 100% recommend walrus oil rather than the oil at Lowe’s/Home Depot. I’ve been using it for a while now and I apply it by hand as well, and let me tell you, the wood feels healthier since I’ve been using it. Once you try it you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
