Iā€™ll show you how to make šŸ’Ž (diamond) end grain cutting board designs that are unique and use the grain of the wood to make a statement. These are butcher block style and even though they look extra fancy they can be DIY projects for those with a workshop that has a table saw and a router.

Awesome how these turned out, especially the tones of the wood.

Always love me some good cutting board vids Brad! Nice work and great tips on mathing out a board. Thanks for sharing!

The boards look really cool. Good work.
  • Thanks for the videos! I love watching them with my cup of coffee in the morning! I currently live overseas and have no access to a woodshop or my woodshop back in Colorado so this gets my fix! Thanks and keep them coming! Nice work!

GR8 detailed step by step production which really is helping those of us that are just learning.
  • Both cutting boards are absolutely awesome! Love the patterns in both. The bow ties are extra fancy

Bow ties? I see butterflies~! šŸ’–
  • Love the diamond/bow tie look. For end grains I love to use a chamfer bit on the bottom and leave the top square, kind of makes it look like itā€™s floating. I would 100% recommend walrus oil rather than the oil at Loweā€™s/Home Depot. Iā€™ve been using it for a while now and I apply it by hand as well, and let me tell you, the wood feels healthier since Iā€™ve been using it. Once you try it youā€™ll know exactly what Iā€™m talking about. Check them out!
