New Zealand win the Men's Double Sculls Final A at Eton Dorney during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Rowing has been staged at all the editions of the Olympic Games, except in 1896 in Athens. It was, however, on the programme, but a stormy sea compelled the organisers to cancel the events.
Women made their debut at the Games in 1976 in Montreal. They competed in a smaller programme. The Olympic Games in 1996 in Atlanta marked the introduction of the lightweight events.

I'll never get tired of watching this race...Cohen and Sullivan, 6'0" and 5'10", beating some of the biggest, most physically-imposing rowers in the world. A lesson in never setting limits for yourself.

MOST INCREDIBLE LAST 500M IVE EVER SEEN

Here after reading the book "How bad do you want it- Mastering the psychology of mind over muscle". beautiful pacing by the kiwis, overcoming their shortcoming for stroke length with incredible stroke rate. It's not only the anthropometric ability but also the mental ability which needs to work in synchrony to succeed.

Best race ever. Hadn’t thought about this in years then it just popped into my head. Great watching again. The “little guys” win with exceptional tactics.
-
Your right I think they are about 5'10", and 5'11" - which disproves a lot of the squad selection policies
-

Yeah, it was great! I remember the NZ commentator completely losing his cool when NZ starting making huge leaps. He wa super calm the whole time then all of a sudden went "GO NEW ZEALAND!"

Amazing to see NZ with a shorter but quicker stroke in comparison to the others.
