A huge cluster of wildfires burning on both sides of Slocan Lake, B.C. in the Southeast, have forced hundreds of people from their homes.

Challenging terrain, and changing weather conditions have made it very difficult for crews to battle these raging wildfires as 400 more people have been evacuated.

The good news is that some alerts have been lifted in the Argenta Creek area. Global’s Chris Gailus and Aaron McArthur have more on the areas of concern.

Wth! This province is going to burn down! 🔥 Don't live in the forests...lol. And they will rebuild to a future nightmare.
  • So glad Global, Glad for better mapping of areas, and more about prevention, wind, rain, sun, comes and goes, it also creates more jobs on prevention of forest fires. Thank you Global.

Pretty unreal to be living in the last comfortable age of humanity. As predicted in the 1970s we are right on track. 12 years from now will begin mass famines as temperatures become too eratic for consistent crops.

Thanks, China 🇨🇳 for - building more and more coal-fired power plants, and - burning more and more fossil fuel.
