Call it for what it is lads. The French purposely yet subtly have made their accommodation crap and will also do things like restrict food. It helps give their athlete's a slight edge. I bet the french aren't living like that.

No one wants to host the games because it's a money trap and a planning nightmare. This is the Olympics on a budget. Why would you expect 5-star accommodation? I guarantee most of these competitors aren't getting plush accommodation the other 3 years they compete when their sport gets no coverage.
