Hello Dr. Su, It was nice to meeting you in person yesterday , thank you for sharing those educational about spine disease and surgery.
  • Thankyou! The attention to details, of the surgery, is what I... like the most!

Great video, very informational. It’s seems like I will be having the key hole decompression surgery. My life has changed drastically and it has been 16 weeks like this and waiting another 3 weeks for surgery. Concerned about my nerves, feeling positive since it’s been a few weeks that I will recover from nerve damage. Wish you were my surgeon. Great, clear information. Thank you!

I love your blogs! I have had a fusion surgery and would love to talk to you about my results and current condition.

The information you share is invaluable. I have significant cervical stenosis, central and foraminal . Your videos have helped me understand my situation and be aware of myelopathy. Thank you Dr 🙏🏻
  • I believe this might be my my future unfortunatley.... I really hope I never need a fusion but if I do you will be my surgeon. 🙏🙏🙏

Could you possibly do a video on foraminotomy to treat trapped nerves from a herniated disc? Love hour content very informative 😊

Also, on a separate note. Do you have any information or videos about the long-term effects of a pubis ramus fracture on the spinal nerves? (With chronic, but intermittent pain not only in the spine juts buttocks and legs)
  • Hi Doctor, I have written you many times. I know you see ALOT of people though. You said at one point you thought it might be time for me to see a surgeon. However, I began getting shots. They have been working miracles until recently. It seems like they may not be working as well. Although, at this time I have no buttocks or leg pain. The upper middle of my back started itching really bad. At first they thought I had shingles. But they sent me for another mri and xrays. Originally I have Osteoporosis with Degenerative Disc Disease. Spondylolisthesis L3 L4 and L4 and 5 along with something with S1. The new tests showed (I forget what everything is called sorry) but something encroaching on T9 -T12. Instead of sending me to a surgeon they sent me to a Nuerosurgen whom said I was fine. The itching is rare, but does tingle when sitting certain positions. I asked the doctor how long I would be taking the shots and he said as long as they continue to work. He is so busy that I don't even get to sleep before he gives me the shots let alone answer questions. Can you give an off the cuff simple estimate of how long the shots might continue to work. They take care of the horrible buttocks and leg pain. I absolutely adore you for doing these videos I have learned alot, but still learning. I will be going back to rewatch them again. Terri

My husband lost use of his legs and bladder. Spinal surgeon said was synovial cyst big hard had dark old blood and jelly substance. Is that rare. I can't find anything about loss of use of legs and bladder

What type of specialist should I be consulting with to get diagnosed? I’ve talked to spine surgeons but they only are looking to do surgery. And is it possible that the cyst protrudes to the point that you can “feel” it on the surface of the lower spine when palpating? It would have been due to a traumatic fall off a horse. Thank you.
  • @elainespear7495
I see mostly you talk about the lumbar section of the spine. I am recovering from a cyst removal on the thoracic section. I am 65 years old and have had a previous corpectomy in the lumbar . Basically, my spine is a train wreck. Any advice going forward ? When is it time to say enough? No more surgery.
