They can't even get her character right, she is a old blind woman in a wheelchair who can use the threads of fate to know what is going to possibly happen. She would work great as a plot device and not a main character.

She is a secondary character which would do well in a Spiderman movie, with Venom and Morbius. That would work in theory. Just need non woke writers to write it. I know, I'm asking for a lot.

Sure, I recall Madame Webb from the comics and the animated show back in the 90's. She was an old woman in the lore, though. Not a bad character and pretty interesting, but an absolutely obscure one to feature in a movie. Interesting choice. With so many to pick from, I don't know why they went for her, unless they planned to have it segue into an ensemble movie series. Doesn't sound like that's the plan. This one has me stumped.

But seriously, I wanted to see this when I thought it was young, hot, Dakota Johnson Madame Web discovering her powers to stop a serial killer, but the extra Spider Women killed any excitement. I agree totally MCU is not Earth 616, sorry everyone I know Earth 199999 is a mouthful but that's what a lack of foresight gets you

I have little or actually no interest in seeing this movie The only thing that looked remotely appealing to me was Celeste O'Connor but I already knew the movie was going to be crap . the first time I ever heard anything about Madame web was in the cartoon series from the mid '90s

The worst part of the movie was actor Tahar Rahim as Ezekiel. Absolutely terrible actor who somehow sounded dubbed the entire movie. DEI failure on full display.
