Warhammer 40k Series by Henry Cavill Might have Problems

There is no series that I really enjoyed since The Boys and Castlevania even though they also had problems. Warhammer by Henri Cavil sounds so awsome for me but Im just so scared it will be shit like everything else that releases nowadays

Did you use the wrong mic? The sound quality used to be better. Amazon has a DEI list just like Disney. It'll be the same stupid slop and anyone hoping this show would be better is naive. Cavill is being placated and meanwhile middle management will twist everything behind the scenes to fit "the message".

never heard of war hammer, but to comment on the subject; if the individual isnt funding his own stuff then the overlords (whoever writing the checks) will always have the last say. kinda goes for anything sadly.

I think Henry Cavill should play Horus.

While I agree he could have put up more of a fight over this, he is really one of the few celebs willing to argue as much as he did. He is also a very kind natured person. He isnt a Diva or wild card like Kanye. So I think he doesnt want to get cancelled or have his career destroyed. Ijs.

Something similar to Games Workshops's "Pariah Nexus" series is probably the best you can hope for. Females will be leading everyone, with a heavy helping of Sororitas, and maybe some Salamanders.

Hopefully Amazon won't crap all over it. I am excited to see what Cavil does with it

Think Cavill is having to play it safe these days i mean the guy never gets into drama cept for that one time in the witcher and he left in a nice way really but then the show runners and writers attempted to throw him under the bus with all the toxic gamer and blah blah blah. He had power I guess being the star of the witcher but that only goe sso far and by the sounds of it he did what he could. With this Warhammer project he wil be fully in charge of the important stuff and GW is pretty dam tight on their lore so even if amazon attempts to lean on cavill to add stupid "woke" crap they could be told NO. And after the dumpster fire of Rings of Power and with the general vibe of things starting to change we might be in luck and actually have a GOOD 40k shoiw with little to no woke BS stuffed in it. But as we all know. "Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment"

It may be mostly accurate, but with a few female empowerment moments here and there, that MAY feel in place if they are done correctly.

Games Workshop have been creeping towards wokeness for a while now, especially in books published by Black Library. A suspiciously large number of female characters, especially in military roles and some pronoun nonsense in a recent 40k book - Rites of Passage. I just returned a BL audio book, Lords of the Lance. In the first chapter we had a Bretonnian lord weeping over his missing son and his daughter, a knight, fights off undead while he watches on. Bretonnia being one of the most chauvinistic societies in the Old World, it's infuriating.

The fact this is even possibly news for people shows the average lack of IQ of the average 40k fan. Games Workshop has been pushing this nonsense for a long time and Caville is a creature of the holly weird swamp working with other creatures of the hollyweird swamp. About as surprising as coming to a Warhammer 40k story and expecting even modestly okay tactics from anyone.

Long time fan and player of the tabletop here. If there is a setting where you can have a black woman commander leading a squad made of "woke" diverse people, and it stays 100% lore-accurate, is in 40k. For the Imperium of Mankind, your ethnicity does not matter, your gender does not matter, your sexual preference does not matter, YOU ARE BUT A NUMBER, a code at the footnotes on the bureaucrats data lists, and the only thing that matters is that you do your duty, be it in the battlefields or in the 16/7 shifts on the factories. So yeah, i dont think "diversity cuotas" would feel out of place in this one XD
