Behold the Giant’s Causeway! An age ago, a giant by the name of Finn McCool lived and battled along the north Antrim Coast of Ireland. When another giant - across the Irish Sea in Scotland, called Benandonner - threatened Ireland, Finn (also known as Fionn Mac Cumhaill) became enraged. In his fury he tore up enormous chunks of coastline and hurled them into the sea to create a path to Scotland. This newly formed passage - the Giant’s Causeway - would allow Finn to put an end to the danger that Benandonner posed.

To pick a fight with this Scottish giant turned out to be a bad decision: Benandoner was far bigger and far stronger than Finn. After a mad dash back to Ireland, Finn’s wife had a witty idea; she dressed Finn up as a baby…

After accepting Finn’s challenge, Benandonner came to Ireland. However, when he laid eyes upon the enormous baby before him, he was stunned… ‘If this is the mere son of Finn McCool, what colossal size must Finn be?’. In a desperate attempt to put as much distance between Finn and him as possible, Benandonner haste-fully tore up the causeway during his retreat back to Scotland. What remains of the Giant’s Causeway is now an awe inspiring natural wonder of the world!
