  • 27 and severe CTE damn. He was out of the league for years too.
  • What about Jr Seau? All Jr Seau life according to teammates, coaches friends, neighbors, and most importantly Jr Seau family all said that he was an amazing man... loving, caring, funny, non violent guy and did amazing things in his community. Then towards the end of his long career started not being him self. Started to get depressed, started to always be angry... then violent with him self and others. Eventually committed suicide, CTE is very real people, whether we like it or not. #RealTalk
  • Shannon is the best combo of real and intelligent as I ever witnessed
  • There was a study done by Boston U recently on 111 NFL players (they autopsied their bodies). 110 were found to have CTE. This was an eye opener for me on this topic personally. Just worth sharing, it was a recent study so should be super easy to find for anyone else curious about it.
  • Can we blame CTE on his decisions?? not totally but you cant say it didn't play a factor. we can rationalize his behavior without sympathizing with it/him
  • I listened to Shannon in another clip talking about how he was basically gifted with athletic ability rather than brains, I disagree with him completely he’s an incredibly smart man
  • Shay said it best. The human body was not designed to play football
  • Dont speak on what u don't know. The man was losing his mind at a rate quicker than what was believed to be normal.
  • Imagine how many other brains have this and we don't know..
  • Repeated blows to the head cause CTE...its not totally why he did it but it sure didn't help.
  • We are all saying don’t forget what he did. But he isn’t the only person that had terrible CTE and committed suicide this is a problem. The nfl and patriots knew he had some form of CTE and they Damn Sure Know a possible side effect of CTE is depression and suicidal thoughts. If you Know this man was in a little prison box for the rest of his life you don’t think the thought of suicide ever Came across his mind?
  • @randyquan
They very carefully danced around the topic that the Patriots knew early that AH had behavioural issues and ignored them because he was an amazing football player. Anything to win.
