100% speedrunning Hello Neighbor is suprisingly super fun, with some broken physics and a lot of fun tricks

Special thanks to ‪@BigBoi9092‬ and ‪@AmazinCris‬ for the help!

My channel generally focuses on a more casual side of speedruns. With these videos I want to show off cool speedruns, explain how they work, and entertain. Hopefully you enjoy the content and maybe even take up speedrunning yourself, because it is truly a lot of fun!

Saw some comments about this so really quick, the "console commands" we use aren't legitimate console commands. They are an intended game function that the game calls console commands but it's an entirely different menu. The only actual command we use is "gamma 3" which makes the game a bit brighter, and is allowed by the speedrunning community

It's astonishing that they put more time and effort into Error World than the entire game. That's like building a fancy door for a crumbling house.
  • @bl03k
This game feels like 100 different people were told to make a puzzle for this game without communicating
  • @Joeysmith256
The best part about this is that the glitched world looks like it could have been part of the main story
  • @MLGfenris
I like how half this speedrun is just hoping physics work
  • I find it funny that during the time easyspeezy was speedrunning 100%, I found a way to skip most of error world and we've found a faster route to the seed in act 3. No matter how long this games been out we're still finding faster strategies. Still a really cool video I enjoyed it!

What i love about speedruns is that they make these ""horror"" games look like complete jokes.
  • @Yuannah
It’s so sad that this game had so much potential but now this glitched play-through looks genuinely more fun than the actual game. edit: sorry! I meant the glitched world in general just looks more fun to play than the actual game.

the original concept of "Hello Neighbor" was simple, fantastical, and intriguing. It was to be a massive house that's part escape room and part puzzle room while having that feeling of Legend of Zelda while having an active threat coming for you. While you can complete the game fairly easily, it seems many of the things that makes the game what it is absurd, nonsensical, and over complicated. i'm glad such a thing is not all that necessary but a gun free door?
  • Hello Neighbor brings up sad memories of a game that could have been great if they didn't milk it for money and make it look like a shell of it's former self
  • @H.Kuriyo
"today we'll be 100% speedrunning hello neighbour" "And now we'll sit,and don't move at all for 10 min" Seems like my kind of speedrun
  • @sleepy_bees
The constant rate you narrate your videos in scratches my brain so good, it keeps me entertained the whole way through because its exactly how fast my brain goes regularly, love it.
  • @Razblox_YT
Since he did the error world first, he doesn't have to worry about the neighbor anymore since he just disappeared when you complete it
  • @guest_14.1.19
Him explaining that you could place the dart a tad too high or that it could even push you off, and then both of those actually happening, then finally falling off the platform as he says that that section is annoying is the pinnacle of jinxing.
  • @FurryNonsense
Hello Neighbor is proof that developers that get too big too fast without a finished game in mind ruin games
  • @dimwarlock
"if you do this, the game breaks", "You have to do this beause the game is very wonky", "you will die if you don't do this very specifically", "I have to do this or the intended result will not happen" One expects a game to do weird things when you intend to break it, not when you're playing it fast... or just casually.
  • @Alex_Off-Beat
That 2+ hour wait in the middle of the run is brutal! Talk about skip potential. Whoever finds tree skip will be the god of this category!
  • You know a game is well made when one of the major recurring obstacles is dying randomly to physics objects.
