I just realized how simple this is in terms of replicating the effect... yet so hard to grasp most of the time. Hell the sheer effort of going through the games EVEN WORLDS, FRAME BY FRAME MASKING NOT TO MENTION, THERE'S TWO VIDEOS BEHIND(Set 1 mask), INBETWEEN(Set 2 mask) AND INFRONT(Badapple mask) The computational power of this would've been immense! Edit: I'm actually quite jealous of that computational power and determination

This is honestly a really cute tribute to pvz as a whole
  • i was just expecting this to be for the original game, but you went all out and represented the whole series. nice!
  • this is actually one of the most interesting iterations of bad apple I've ever seen.
  • 1:51 the beat drop timing perfectly with the low tide and final wave is all i needed in my life

I find it so poetic how the video started started with PVZ 1, went through the game franchise, and ended with the first level of PVZ 1. What a masterpiece of a video

Can't wait to see this getting recommended to me again 10 years later.

3:00 it kinda loooks like the petals are pieces of the packet that are flying around
  • 1:33 that transition from far future to dark ages is very disorienting if you don’t know what’s happening.

i love how this isnt just the lawn but actual gameplay
  • Holy heck! I wasn’t expecting this to be as well done as it was! I thought it was just going to be the day/night sections but you showed the original, the backyard, the roof (each of the last three with day and night cycles), walnut bowling, each time period from the second game, and garden warfare?! In the end it all came back to its roots as well. I can’t applaud you enough. Great job! 👏

A fine addition to my collection..
  • It started with original pvz and then went over every pvz games just to return back to the original. Like how it started with Reimu and Marisa and ended with them. How poetic
