Reuniting the director, writer and stars of Forrest Gump, Here is an original film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. The story travels through generations, capturing the most relatable of human experiences. Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Castaway, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Contact, Back to the Future) directs from a screenplay by Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Killers of the Flower Moon, Dune, A Star is Born) and him. Told much in the style of the acclaimed graphic novel by Richard McGuire on which it is based, Tom Hanks and Robin Wright star in a tale of love, loss, laughter and life, all of which happen right Here.

  • Production assistant: bumps tripod Robert and Tom: NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I never thought I'd be so happy to see de-aged Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. Showing them through the years like this is going to be a rollercoaster of emotions. This is Cinema at it's best!
  • I've lived in the same house for 52 years. I know what it's like to experience time unfold in one space. People and pets come and go. Bush turns to farms, to land subdivisions, to houses on acreage, to added community infrastructure. Trees in backyards disappear to accommodate more houses on smaller blocks. Apartments creep in. People are born and die, young and old. Love is found and lost, or remains beyond the grave. Thoughts evolve from simple to complex, then simple again. Longtime residents grow from infancy to one of the few remaining custodians of local history. A living witness to time on Earth. 🌏 An explorer of time, charting a course that can only be travelled once. ⏳

I like the idea of timelines captured in a single frame, it’s like a movie stage play
  • You gotta hand it to Zemeckis, this man GOES FOR IT.
  • Jon Anderson is still an amazing vocalist and after all these years YES manages to sound fresh, insightful, sometimes and magnificent. Forever they will be discovered by new generations, that makes me content.
  • Is anyone else in tears just from the trailer??? Man, this is going to be an emotional ride.
  • I highly recommend the graphic novel this is based on. “Here” is by Richard McGuire and set in the same exact perspective, spanning decades, centuries, millions and even billions of years across all time periods (but especially the events inside the room). I spotted so many shots in this trailer taken directly from the book, so I’m excited
  • I’m getting “a ghost story”meets “the tree of life” vibe from this trailer.
  • @rashata
Forrest Gump came out in 1994, the same year I was born. This is how we’re celebrating our 30th birthday! Mr. Forrest Gump, you’re always my favorite person ❤️
  • I can't explain how emotional I've got with this 1:49-minute trailer. I'm crying. I'm expecting so much from this movie.
  • Not every Zemeckis film is golden, but you can't deny that he gave us all-time classics (like Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?), and he tries to make something outside the box.
  • @TJbutLag
Zemmy please cook i can't keep defending you

It's encouraging to see Zemeckis prepared to take a chance in a time when taking chances in movies is becoming less common.
  • In an era where risk-taking in cinema is increasingly rare it's good to see Zemeckis willing to just go for it.
  • Why are people hating on this? I love that someone's actually trying to make a unique movie!
  • Holy shit! A movie that isn’t a remake, a super hero movie, or a sequel no one wanted.
  • Proof that using Yes in a soundtrack is always a great idea
