The yoshi fight acts like king K rool’s fight in 2 ways: 1) the yoshi king throws the crown allowing the weak spot to be revealed 2) The falling cannonballs from the ceiling

I like how they used the Kirby's Super Star - Arena and Smash Bros All Star modes as the basis for this boss rush mode. Also Yoshi throwing the crown is exactly the same as KRool throwing his crown and cannonballs coming down in Donkey Kong Country 1.

It’s so cool that at the end of the boss rush that Koopa is FINALLY able to enjoy his Birthday Party in peace.
