Morph transforming into Deadpool, Omega Red, and Maverick during his fight with Wolverine implies that the previous memories of Sabretooth gleamed by Professor Xavier were Sabretooth actually fighting Morph either all at once or at various different sparring sessions While Morph posed as different mutants, framing them for crimes

Bonkers how mature these episodes are. Meanwhile Spider-Man couldn't throw punches at the same time

This recap just makes me want to reiterate how good we had it when this X-Men show first came out
  • @user-pl3hw2nw7t
This show was so important to me during my childhood. Congratulations to New Rockstars and Eric. Incredible review, you did the show justice!

I damn near had an heartattack at 13 when Spidey's had that shadow and his hand cameout shooting the web.
  • It’s wild that actual history like WWII was not allowed to be mentioned back then but I don’t ever recall NOT knowing what Magneto’s back story was.

The X-Men series was my first and most involved exposure to the ip too.

So just shows how sophisticated the writing was even with barriers.

  • @kramermariav

  • @Ginaippy2

I remember watching the Deadpool cameo as a kid with my brother and us losing our minds.

i still get chills every time i hear Apocalypse from this show.
"I am as far beyond mutants as they are beyond you!" cemented him as my fav villain ever.
    instant goosebumps.
  • I've been rewatching the entire old X-Men Animated Series in preparation for X-Men 97, and I got to say I really liked the Phoenix Saga and the Dark Phoenix Saga in season 3. I really enjoyed revisiting the show, and I'm really glad this story and these X-Men are getting a continuation to their story! I'm so EXCITED!!!! X-Men 97 sounds amazing and like everything I wanted it to be! I'm so hyped!
