The German Pasta with a lot of Cheese is one of the most popular Traditional German Dishes, but also an internationally very unknown German Street Food from the Southern German Regions, which we would like to introduce to you in this “Street Food Berlin Germany” Episode.
German Pasta with a lot of Cheese – originally called “Spätzle” – can perhaps be compared to Macaroni and Cheese. But with German Pasta, the Pasta is always homemade prepared, so the consistency in combination with the Spicy Cheese is unique in terms of Taste. The Choice of Cheeses used varies depending on the Region, but a long-ripened Mountain Cheese must always be included as a topping.
Every Week, the “Spätzlemacher” provide Berliners and Pasta Lovers with their delicious Homemade German Pasta Dishes at various Weekly Markets and anyone who has never eaten it should definitely try it. The perfect German Soul Food.

[1] Turmeric just for Color

[2] Pasteurized Eggs are Germ-Free Eggs

[3] Broth is boiled for 90 minutes & then steeped until the next Day

The next Day, the vegetables are sieved and then refined at the Market Stall with Cream, Mushroom Powder, Salt and Nutmeg. The vegetable broth is then added to the Spaetzle in the Pan so that it becomes even juicier and creamier when heated with the Mountain Cheese.
