  • This latest edition of "The Ultimate Guide" comprehensively covers all the recent iterations of the Ninja Turtles that have emerged since the previous release of the guide. Enjoy!
  • I'm ashamed to admit it but I owned the Turtles coming out of their shells video as a kid and I thought it was the greatest thing ever 😅
  • I feel like Rise’s boldness to try vastly new and different things encouraged future adaptations to try a couple new things too. My genuine opinion on Rise is that it has a great rendition of the turtles’s characters. Especially Donnie and April. (Usually Raph is my favorite, but Rise Donnie is basically autistic Tony Stark. How can I not love him?) The show’s very humor focused. Well written but it’s not as dark as I would like. It focuses on the turtles being really close together and the importance of family, a plethora of good brother (and April) moments. Raph makes a good leader where it counts. Taking care of them all as the eldest. Due to the rush of the second season the last few episodes get darker and more serious. You could tell the writers couldn’t take their time like they would have liked. It’s a tone that’s a lot more captivating to me which is unfortunate. The Rise Movie however basically takes a hard 180 tone wise compared to most of the series. It’s DARK, and horrifying in the best way possible. It has the BEST Krang, and that’s all I’m saying. This movie made me hyperfixate on this series SO BADLY. And got me to start on ALL the other cartoons alone. They introduce Casey Jr here, who’s adorable (for a war veteran from an apocalypse in the future). If you loved Mutant Mayhem, (which I did), I’m telling you it’s just as good if not better. I can’t recommend it enough. If they did do a third/future seasons I would hope they would go in this darker direction, but still embracing the strong relationships (and jokes) they have with each other. Personally I’d like it if Raph and Leo were co-leaders as that apparently was a concept the writers wanted to explore before things got cut short.
  • Amazing stuiff Turtle Den, can't wait to see what the newest TV series brings, my friend is working on it and says it looks pretty great!
  • I remember hearing/reading/watching that the 2007 movie is a sequel to the 90’s movies. Basically after finally destroying Shredder once and for all in Secret of the Ooze, the turtles went their separate ways and that’s why 2007 starts with them all not together anymore. So it exists within the 90’s movie universe - even if it can be considered a standalone movie (you can watch it and not watch any of the 90’s movies and you won’t be lost at all). There is even a teaser at the end of the film that shows mementos from the live action 90’s movies.
  • I loved the ninja turtles ever since I was a kid. The 2003 tv show was my first introduction to this franchise, and I've been hooked since then. And I enjoyed all the movies as well with the 2007 animated movie being my number one. I haven't watched the latest movie yet, but I'll watch it eventually.
  • @TBoneTony
Always aware that Ninja Turtles had many different versions. As a kid, I always found it confusing that on my Turtles Game & Watch game from Konami had each turtle was wearing Red Bandanas.
  • You should make another video about every video game ninja Turtles that’s been released so far
  • Great video, I'd really like Last Ronin to be a movie hopefully as an end to the trilogy. Batman vs TMNT was great and would've been a good idea for Marvel to do a crossover with the Turtles as the Turtles were Marvel based & do live in New York
  • Donnie crushes on April - 2012 (cgi series turtles) Mikey crushes on April - 2014 (Bay Turtles) Leo crushes on April - 2023 - (Seth Rogen turtles) Raph tells Oprah he's been trying screw April - ROCK N ROLL TURTLES!!!!!!!
  • thx for the vid!!! honestly i love all the iterations, but 2003 and rise are my favorites, and i feel rise deserves to come back!
  • @zackamania63
I was today years old when I realized the rock band version was called “coming out of their shells” because they didn’t have shells 🤯
  • @roseville412
Wooo! I've been WAITING for you to release a vid like this!
  • @TurtleC0mic
Pizza power is the most epic song ever. Still hits hard to this day. I love annoying my wife with it 😂
  • The first 90s turtle movie will always be timeless. I grew up watching the 2003 and 2012 turtles on TV and still love them to this day. I remember not being interested in the rise turtles when it came out, but the Netflix movie is really great. And I love mutant mayhem as well and can’t wait for tales of the TMNT.
  • I actually started my hyperfixation into TMNT with Rise. And even after watching most of the other iterations, Rise is one of my favorites. I was around when 2012 was airing and I'd seen little bits and pieces of it, but they never stuck out to me, probably because I've never been super into sci-fi. Rise is such a new rendition of the turtles that you don't have to know a lot about any other versions for Rise to really grab you. The turtles' hierarchy and personalities are almost completely different and while some people may not like that, I personally find it really cool. It shows that you don't need to follow the same things outlined by the originals and the idea of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can be incredibly flexible. It's so fresh that even most of the rouges are brand new characters. My problems with Rise mainly stem from how dirty Nickelodeon did the team. Nick wanted a less serious, more comedy based TMNT and while Rise does that pretty well, it's easy to tell from certain and the movie that the team was planning for a serious, overarching story line, but with Nickelodeon repeatedly failing to properly advertise them and airing them at piss-poor timeslots, it feels like the team wasn't able to do that. And don't even get me started on how bad the toys were (they snatched Donnie's eyebrows). With all this being said, Rise isn't technically over yet. They're in an "indefinite hiatus" which means that there could be a 3rd season if enough people demand it. Rise has a dedicated cult following and there have been petitions made to get Rise it's third season. Hell, the main guy working on Rise has said that it's very much possible that two different TMNT universes could air at the same time, meaning Rise doesn't really see Mutant Mayhem/Tale of the TMNT as a threat. I really hope Rise gets their third season and is less held back by Nick, because I'd love to see more stories with the turtles post-movie.
  • I'm happy for the new ones they are doing a 2d series, that the problem with 3d movies getting animated shows is that when they try to stay as 3d most of the times looks like incomplete versions of the movies because of budget and time
