Can’t believe this has under 100k views. Everyone should hear this story. It’s crazy this guy can recount all the moments with the fog of war.

SSgt. Romesha's expression all through the interview says so much. This man and the men he served with, they're all extraordinary heroes. The rest of us blessed to live in this great nation should aspire to live lives worthy of their sacrifice. Respect and blessings, SSgt. Romesha.
  • “Time stood still and time slipped by without notice “. Such a great way to help us understand what he experienced. I can tell you it’s exactly like that. There are times when your life is in great danger that Time stand still and everything goes it just slow motion. And when it continues for a long period of time there’s all this time you can’t account that just slipped by. I understand it exactly. Plus when he say rounds the difference between rounds fired at us or….those rounds were “AT US”. another great explanation of the reality of war. Plus the unbelievable loudness of a full on assault! He can really tell a great…well Great “story” is an understatement!

“If you gotta go around and tell everyone how great you are , you probably aren’t that great”. Silence is golden. Love it.

SSgt Romesha mentions numerous times how humbled he is to be selected to accept the MOH for his service to America, we're humbled and sometimes even cry with him, are humbled to know America has many who deserve the highest award for valantry and service America bestowes on her soldiers but will never be recognized. We're honored to learn SSgt Romesha's story of what happened on that day, the 3rd of October, 2009 in Afghanistan.

As a Mom - I just want to hug and comfort Ro. He has endured so much and carries so much pain with him.
  • You are a very humble and honorable man Mr. Clint Romesha. The love and loyalty you have for the men you served with is admirable. First class human being and American. Definitely a national treasure along with all those soldiers that fought that battle. What a group of fine people. The people that did the interview weren't bad people, but what the hell did they think they were doing? "Oh just a minute son while I check my text messages, oh just a minute while I get some coffee, oh just a minute, this and that. They act like they are doing a story about a guy who won a sack race at the county fair.
  • That young man is the salt of the earth. The type of man that has made and continues to make this country great. True American. God bless and thank you.
  • Pure appreciation. Even in this interview his determination to share his story amidst the stop and start of the filming is selflessness. How lucky we are to have men like him to be willing to give the ultimate sacrifice.
  • @dreamagery
These men should be enough reason why we respect our constitution, and honor our service members.

Brilliant interview with a great and humble man. His biography of the battle is exceptional.
  • Thank you Mr Romoshea for being an outstanding Patriot and an extraordinarily brave warrior with much humility. God bless you
