Hiya! šŸ¤— People are asking about the healthy cookie recipe. Here's what I do: 3 ripe bananas 125 gr rolled oats (1.5 cups) 3 tbsp peanut butter 30 gr raisins (about 1/5th of a cup) cinnamon bit of salt Mash bananas and add the rest of the ingredients to form a sticky 'dough'. Form little balls in your hands of about 5 cm (2 inches) and press them on a baking tray until you have a cookie of about 2 cm thick (1 inch). Bake in the oven for about 15-18 minutes on 180 degrees Celcius (356 F). Check if they're nice and golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool a bit before transfering them, to make sure they don't fall apart. Enjoy! :)

Hi, I am 71 and my biggest bit of advice is never to say ā€˜Iā€™m too oldā€™. In my forties I took up tae kwon do and trained to black belt. In my fifties I changed career and became a nurse. I am now recently retired and thinking about what I can do next. Try and keep a positive mindset, you never know what the future holds ā¤ļøšŸ˜€

I'm 83 next month and I've never been more happier.

ThƩ best thing about getting older is being more comfortable in your skin and not caring what other people think because their opinions are theirs and not your business.
  • This video is so valuable to me. Iā€™ll be 55 this summer and Iā€™m in a deep time of reflection in my life. When I see younger people developing the wisdom that has taken me so long to find out for myself, I want to celebrate with them! Iā€™m happy to learn from the younger generation. šŸ™šŸ’•

Life really does move fast as you get older. Iā€™m going to be 57 next week and due to dealing with chronic illnesses the last 20 years I do still feel envious of people who are healthy enough to travel and can afford it. But I am finally in a better mental state as far as who I let into my life now. It took me until my 40ā€™s to finally stop allowing toxic people in my life. It really is true what they say about being in your 50ā€™s and finally not caring what others think about you.

I worried a lot in my 20ies and thirties about relationships and to have it all husband and children. It never worked out and I was depressed for a while. Now Iā€™m 45 yrs old single, have an apartment near the beach (Sydney, Australia ā¤) have a full time job I love, lovely friends around me and live my best life over here! Peace of mind and feeling happy! Life experience just makes you stronger and independent! šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø

Time flies faster with each decade. I am 59 years old and I can honestly say that life gets better as I age. I love each decade more than the last. I look forward to my sixties in which life is free from the responsibilities of parenthood and can be focused on my self and my husband now. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and wisdom šŸ’–

The best thing about being in my 50s is that I am now living a very authentic life. I do not try to ā€œfit inā€ anymore, I do not try to please people, I am much more peaceful and calm. Everyday is an opportunity to learn new things and enrich our lives with experiences. Thank you for a wonderful videoā€¦ sending lots of love to you and this amazing community of like minded folks. šŸŒ¼šŸŒ»

I am 63 and what you have to look forward to is: being free from your hormones - as they decline many see it as a sadness..it is a blessing to flip things that are biologically driven to making a choice! Not caring about others opinions... living your best life on your terms. I hope that gives you some hope for the future..it really does get better but it's a different life - the ones that struggle are those who are trying to hang on to the you in your 30's,40's,50's... being the best you can be at your age. Love your channel - you are so authentic xx
  • I turned 30 in August last year. One thing that I learnt during my therapy is that overworking was a trauma response coupled with my need to control everything, so I simply started allowing myself to do nothing without feeling guilty :)

One thing that really put life into perspective for me was when I turned 60 and someone said to me, welcome to your 7th decade of life. Even though I had been a math teacher, it took me a bit to realize that was true. I have already lived 6 decades and am now in my 7th decade of life. No time to waste or worry. Just enjoy it. ā¤

I am 40. I used to have the same fear that you described of throwing a party and nobody wanting to come, or not having people to invite. I have realised its really fun to throw a little party and invite all kinds of people, including people you met two days ago. I have done this a few times this year and we have had the best time every time. So I guess in my 40s Im realising that we all have way more potential for social fun and silliness than we thought!

Like many of the ā€œolderā€ commenters here, I can confirm that life goes very quick. If you have dreams/aspirations to do anything, do it now. With regard to friends. We have very few friends in life. We can normally count them on one hand. True friends should never be confused with social acquaintances, which we may have many. šŸ™

Hi Vera, I am in my fifties now, and what I experinced during growing older was that I finally know what I really want from life, and, which I find more important, what I do NOT want from or in my life. I feel somewhat "settled" now, and that is a feeling I like very much.

Envy goes away, yes, me too. Today when i see beautiful people inside and out, i appreciate it, it gives me joy instead of envy, how wonderful and colourful the world is. Loneliness: i felt it, too..now i think i couldn't handle too much friends, because i wouldn't be a good friend splitting my attention for everyone.

I am 69 and am just figuring myself out because I was too busy working and dealing with family. You are way ahead of the game and I wish I discovered things earlier in life. As I aged I did notice that I stopped caring what others thought about me and started caring more about me.
  • I am 65 and in the last three years Iā€™ve car camped to Utah, Yellowstone, DC for cherry blossoms, and the UP. I never dreamed living simply, frugally could ignite this passion. I retired at 60. Carpe Diem

It is so good to see a young person enjoying their youth. Time goes by fast. Iā€™m 64 and miss doing things I could do when I was young. You are wise beyond your years! With that being said, I love having the memories of the great decades I was able to live through: 60s, 70s, 80s ā¤ and 90sā¤ā¤ā¤
