A rare case of professionalism, this interviewer. Hats off
  • I love that he twice drew attention to her academic achievements...and particularly that he ended the interview on that note.

He is such a gentleman at interviews. He could have been a pusher who asked for the tea on her bf at the time or treated her like being in movies will be the best thing to happen to her, but when she didnt share more on the bf he moved right on to the next topic and he sincerely congratulated her on her studies outside of Harry Potter knowing how much her studies meant to her. I knew I've always liked him for a reason beyond just being funny.
  • I have a lot of respect for the interviewer, he treated Emma with respect. Can’t find people like him today.
  • That's one level-headed and clever young lady. I wish her the best of life and happiness.
  • I genuinely love the comments on her education and congratulating her on her hard work outside of acting.
  • everyone is probably saying this. but she is the true Hermione. having A's while filming movies for 10 years and still being able to focus on school.

Seeing all the creepy bits where late night hosts crossed the line on young women it is so great to see good examples indeed do exist
  • She seems so lovely. And the interviewer was so respectful and kind to her.
  • I'm 62 and I love the Harry Potter movies. I watch them all over again every few years when I've forgotten enough, which isn't hard for me. It's really hard to imagine those films with any other actors. I think the casting was impeccable.

I cannot believe it’s been over 10 years since the last movie came out, 20 years since it all started. The return to Hogwarts special has me rewatching all the films presumably like many others are and it’s making me greatly miss my childhood. My mother had taken me to this small single screen theater to see the first one and it became our thing to go and watch them all together in that theater as they came out. Childhood memories that I wish I could relive. Kind of ruined it though when on vacation I begged to go out with the others who were planning to see the Order of The Phoenix as it had just released. My mother wanted me to wait until we got back but impatient 13 year old me at the time didn’t want to wait and was so excited as I loved Harry Potter just so much. She reluctantly let me go and off I went. Felt real guilty for that as I grew older and realized how much those trips to the theater meant to her and me as well.
  • It was really wholesome to see an interview dig in a little bit of off screen life in a relatable way. To many interview questions draw into parts of peoples lives that may not matter.

Yep, Ross handled that so well like an interested and concerned adult, great to watch, she is such a lovely person

Emma "there's millions of girls out there who would chop their left arm off to kiss him" Me "there's millions of boys out there who would chop their left arm off to kiss you as well"
  • Seen the "it was like incest" grab multiple times, but glad I got to see the full interview. Credit to Jonathan not going for the gossip headline re: her boyfriend and asking about her studies. Treated her like a human being which is something you don't always see with public figures.
  • Emma Watson, clearly very intelligent, seems such a lovely, sweet, well considered young lady. Having watched her grow up in this series of movies, is like watching my own daughter finding her way in the world. Her family must be so proud of her; I am, and the only thing WE have common to us both, is birthplace. God bless you Emma, may you have a long, very happy, healthy and successful life. You are so beautiful, and in so many ways.
  • the beautiful thing here is that Emma, Dan and Rupert felt like our family so you can really see Jon talking to Emma like his little daughter. It's the one cast that's got the whole UK backing them as a family. That's what Harry Potter and the cast mean to us.
  • Kissing is something which is purely psychological. Every kiss is different then other even with the same person. It's angelic

I'm not used to watch this kind of shows but wow no fake / forced laughs, not loudy, host seems respectful and doesn't push. I don't know if it's still on air but could've been something to watch a couple of years ago.
