"Ringo got a drum." [total silence] "Yeah, RINGO GOT A DRUM." [ecstatic applause]

"Something in the way he drums attracts me like no other drummer."

This man is 73 years old at the time and still manages to make those girls scream.

Ringo Starr should have gotten in waaay before 2015. Paul is always so down to earth and just a class act.

Ringo being born at an early age is one of the best jokes I've ever heard.

It was really touching when Paul spoke about Ringo's family. He is one of the few people left in Ringo's life who knew, loved and still remembers his late parents and the early part of Ringo's life. With Peace and Love.đź’ť

A rare occasion where all four Beatles wives are in attendance: Yoko, Nancy, Barbara & Olivia.

It's so valuable to still have members of The Beatles alive. They lived an existence no one else has experienced. Nothing like getting the story straight from the horse's mouth!

Just being a Beatle far surpasses any hall of fame award

John, Paul and George were incredible talents but at times they could be petty and hurtful to one another. Ringo has always struck me as the most loving and understand of the four.

One thing for sure, when you listen to their studio work Ringo never seems to screw up. Solid every time. And most important - he was intuitive. Back in my band days, a drummer that could predict the direction of a song or take eye cues was gold. Ringo is gold.

I love that Paul gave a brief shout out to Pete Best, he at least deserves a mention.

Those guys has lived through Michael Jackson, Elvis, Freddie Mercury, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Journey, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, James Brown, Chuck Berry, Frank Sinatra and hundreds more. They seen it all. What a life.
