This OMG sports a breathtaking 3,000-year-old ancient Sitka spruce top, appropriately paired with old-growth mahogany back and sides, and ivoroid bound and decked out with abalone purfling and rosette.

More than just visually mesmerizing, though, the sonic character of this guitar is detailed, rich and sure to move both player and listener. Inherently balanced, this OM Grand has a strong and controlled bass response matched by well-defined trebles and a distinctly vintage feel to the midrange. The overall blend brings together the best of classic and contemporary tones and works wonders for fingerstyle and flatpicked approaches alike.     My favorite guitar that Mr.Miner played has been the 1971 Yamaha FG – 2000, and this guitar comes The closest to that beautifully smooth sounding Yamaha guitar. I know taste is subjective, but these 2 guitars really move me. Thank you very much!
