What Super Mario Odyssey would look like if before starting the game Mario got into massive trouble with loan sharks that put him in crippling debt. This was tons of fun to do and make a video on. I should not be allowed to use video editing software.

Honestly, when he was going into detail about Mario taking a suspicious sponsorship deal, I expected him to lead into an actual sponsorship.
  • @justehcupcake
The lore behind this is the most believable reason that Mario would die when reaching 0 coins
  • I love the absolutely wild video premises with paper mario characters
  • @Rockalanche
I'd like to imagine the reason you don't get coins from Bowser is because he spent them all on the wedding.
  • Alternate ending: After realizing his nemesis came out all this way out of a slim hope of getting out of debt alive, Bowser decides to pay Mario’s debt in full, and instead of kidnapping Princess Peach, he now kidnaps mob bosses, only letting them go if they cancel the debts of their poor victims. If they do not comply, Bowser either turns them in to Mushroom Kingdom law enforcement of kills them himself. Meanwhile, Mario stops going to illegal fights, and starts cleaning up his life. He decides to make a game based off his wild ride, and it becomes a huge hit, selling millions of copies worldwide

"Peach however, would not pay out." Is she secretly the CEO of Crazy Cap Incorporated?

Just print more coins, the Mafia won't notice
  • @huddyYT
Did anyone realize that he started and left with the same amount of coins in Seaside? 549 must be a magical number to the Mario Lore

The skills you have at telling a story in a video game with paper cutouts is amazing
  • @Somniphbia
this is such a creative take on losing 1 coin a second, keep up the amazing content!

Man, how in debt was Mario? An entire life costs only 100 coins, and Mario had to spend way more than that in this run. Did he really rack up multiple life debts? Or maybe the interest was what got him and only paying one coin at a time meant he never touched the principle.

The challenge, the story, the paper Mario presentation, everything, it's just Awesome! Keep up the good work!
  • I love how you added the outfits into the story to make the run more suspenseful. Great content right there!

The multiple ways you're able to retell the story of Mario Odyssey and make it feel fresh is so impressive. The Paper Mario cutouts are also incredibly funny, they make me laugh :)
  • @DParkerNunya
The setup of the sponsors leading to the final punchline is so good lol
  • I love how you actively made the challenge harder by buying clothing despite the risk. It really shows how reckless of a spender this Mario is.
  • @BasicallySai
“But fortunately, crappy has a solution, crime.” Yes, of course
  • @OhNoBohNo
I love how with no other context being given, I am being forced to believe Fir lost like 500 coins just to bad sponsorship deals rather than, what I suspect might have happened, which is chat bullying him into getting Crazy Cap clothes xD

Your video style is so fun! This retelling of the streams with humor and paper mario? An absolute blast!
