I wrote to him in 1990. I told him that I was a fan of the show. he wrote back to me and very graciously thanked me. I still have the letter that he sent me in a scrapbook.

I started watching Bob Ross in the late 90's on PBS. Even as a young kid i new their was something special about his paintings and the way he talked. Little did Bob know that his painting videos would be so much appreciated and loved 30-40 years later. Thank you Bob.. R.I.P.
