Today I wanted to attempt to build a SUPERSONIC motorcycle in Trailmakers! This challenge would have been a LOT harder before the gyro stabilizer block so I was excited to finally be able to try it and not go absolutely insane :D I also ended up using the NEW rocket thruster to try and achieve this goal so check out the video and let me know what you thought of it!

Thanks for watching the video! If you enjoyed it, make sure to like it, share it with your friends and give me your feedback in the comments below!

Since the new space map is truly endless, it's a shame that the devs haven't gone back and made a truly endless flat map. It would be great for testing top-speed builds like this one.

A tip: Wedges do create forces perpendicular to the angled side. All the wedges going up to your seat were pushing you down and making you less efficient. I think turning all your wedges on their side may have made you faster and eliminated the need for the spoiler. It would have been super ugly, though. Also, the cockpit seat has slightly worse aero than a 4x1 wedge. The top of your seat was still exposed.

If you're using engines, use wheels with lots of friction. If you're using jets, use wheels with low friction.
  • @michaelmain1990
Kosmo engines cap or add alot of rolling resistance to wheels when using rockets, that's why your speed was jumping up and down
  • Also I bet if you use sleds to eliminate friction one rocket engine will do supersonic

I always love your Trailmakers vidoes, Kosmo, keep them coming!

reverse aerodynamics are a thing, so would likely be beneficial to place aero behind the rocket too to streamline
  • Take the wheels off, quadruple the speed... I was not expecting that.

Still think yall should do a multiplier monday on the test map that's a normal dog fight, but you all have to be moving faster than sound barrier on average. Possibly make some logic system that sets off tnt if you drop below that speed after reaching it.
  • The only way to make it with only one would be probably using the zero-drag glitch so 2 glitchless is best that can be done probably (at least from what I know)

Kosmo you could have used a gyro to keep the weight down and keep it from lifting the front up. Also, the thing is the big rocket engine has a build up in power.

As soon as I saw this video randomly, I wanted to see this done

16:40 Have you tried putting the whole thing up on Ski so that the ground resistance isn't as much?
  • @FIashOOT
This would defenitly be street legal in America😅
  • I want to see you test the limits of the game, can you make a floating chair like the floating chair in real life that uses tenchion to stay up and looks like it should fall over because its held up by rope or chains
